Mind blown! Even though I do take advantage of pricing the different marketplaces with each of the distributors, I never though to actually look at my competitors in those marketplaces.

THANK YOU! (Sorry for the shouting, but that was a really helpful video.) I'm glad to see that KDP does all the markets I'll be targeting. One place to do that will really help. I'm surprised at how different the prices are depending on the country.
Also, thanks for being so considerate of your international clients.

Kdp makes it so easy to match based on base marketplace but that trick of checking out competition in local market places is gold!

Just when I think I've got it figured out, along comes another video that reminds me just how clueless I still am 😂

    #noboringbooks! 🤣
Awesome info. I'm always surprised by how many moving parts there are in book marketing; and easy to understand you make them!
    Thanks again, Julie!

I see on the Ingram form you showed that you chose 35%. My understanding was that we should choose 55% in order for retailers/distributors to take on our books. Can you guide me?

Another great video about a topic I had never thought of at all. Now you have me thinking will I be able to sell some of my books in Canada. Thank you.

I tell people we refined the English language. We got rid of all those "u's" because they really don't belong. They're all silent and take more time to write, more ink to print. Trust me, your life will be better without those unnecessary letters 😊
Next I'll get you to spell "er" right. Center, not centre. Maguier, not Maguire. Ok, I need to work on that one!

It feels like all my Australian readers hate me. They keep using words like bloody, hell, and bloody hell.

I think they mean that as a compliment!
