Wow you started from 13😲!!!! And life happens to all of us, I am happy to wait until whenever for the tasting vids :)
I like you have a note book just like me. Anytime I think of idea for a video or beer I write it down because in 5 minuets I will forget it. That coffee looks good too 🙂
Yup! I do my best to keep track of everything. I mess up so you and I have success! 😄
I found frozen dragon fruit at Sam wholesale. I’m making a batch right now it’s red. I had a hard time getting to start. But is going now. 😅
Sounds good, please do share your results! Thanks for sharing!
Update on your dragonfruit wine please....if it survived...because mine currently is kinda bland and any tips would be more than welcome
Ok, so I haven’t tasted mine yet and I do still have it, but I do believe the white dragonfruit have a lighter flavor than it’s red flesh cousin. I would suggest backsweetening with raw cane sugar and possibly adding some dried dragonfruit to secondary/conditioning. Maybe a pound of the darker variety if available. I’m working on a syrup video and this should help, eventually!
@@dockofthebaycountrywines69 Thank you. My query is actually for the red flesh variety, the flavour is underwhelming thus far but I will take your advice and see if dried dragon fruit (or another dried fruit) would help improve the flavour.
@@micheleeastmond9552 ripe dragonfruit is sweet in flavor and often described as a blend of pear and kiwi. Unripe fruit is basically flavorless! So maybe try a combination of pear and kiwi to mimic the flavor.
@@dockofthebaycountrywines69 what I got must have been underripe then because...well I won't repeat what I have already said about the taste lol. Thanks for the recommendation of pear and kiwi, will look for some dried pear not sure if I will find the dried kiwi but definitely will play around with pear.
