    You'd think that any car ready for pickup would have beeb inspected for scratches, blemishes or any of the obvious stuff that you found easily. Now you have a service appt. , loss of use for a while, or some other unnecessary inconvenience. C'mon Tesla , clean up your act, or your competitors will catch up and eat your lunch. I'm supposed to take delivery sometime next week and I hope I don't get caught up in these issues, but go figure the odds on a defect free Tesla these days.

      Literally it’s not a lot to ask. Love the car but during inspection if you catch things you definitely shouldn’t allow the customer to take it and waste their time bringing it back. I just read today that a cybertruck rear AC was not working at delivery and of course the owner has to return the truck in a month to fix. That’s just unnecessary and should be unacceptable and more owners need to call them out and not pretend it doesn’t occur. I just want Tesla to be there best but fix the issues so the customer can have a good experience. The guy with the cybertruck had it reserved for 4 years. You don’t want to finally get it with issues.

      Not really about the clapping but the differences in how Tesla delivered vehicles several years ago until now and yes if you had a better experience when you purchased your vehicle you want you significant other to have the same experience with no vehicle damage at delivery.

    At first, honestly I was, "Dang 32 minutes!?" But man I am glad I stuck it all the way through. This video hit different in a good way for me. Thank you so much for the delivery insight. Looking to purchase one in a year or two. Your video has given me ammo I can mention to the sales rep once I am in the process of pre-delivery and all the way through to the delivery day.
    I will definitely have my wife sit in the driver's seat, with me in the back and have a sales rep go through the features of the vehicle. When it comes to dancing, I have two left feet. When it comes to technology, my wife has no clue about it whatsoever 😂😂😂. Thanks again for the very well thought out video.
    👍🍻

      Man sorry it went so long. I was like dang at the end myself. Lol. It definitely could’ve been condensed but glad most people found it informative.

    Congrats to your wife on the new Tesla. I feel you on that scratch on the car. In my experience, my model Y was delivered to my house. I was actually surprised that it was delivered and to be honest, I preferred that. It was a nice surprise to come home and see a beautiful blue Model Y sitting in my drive way. The car was perfect at first. 🤣 I say at first because on the outside it was great but then maybe about a month later I noticed some bad assembly issues on the inside of the car. I eventually had it fixed after about 8 months with the car only because i had an unexpected issue which was a rodent eating the wires to my windshield wiper. 🙄 Other than that, I absolutely love the car. It’s been amazing. Love the updates that come in. I see your wife’s Model Y got the latest update with that full screen car. I got that update a couple weeks ago. My Model Y Long Range was delivered to me March of 2023 so it’s just a little over a year old. I loved the experience of buying via the app. The only time I got annoyed was with the person at my credit union trying to sneak in little things that I didn’t need. I thought buying a Tesla would allow me to avoid the underhanded trickery but that still happened with my credit union. 😂 Other than that it’s all good. Excellent car.. love keeping it clean and shiny with all the ceramic goodies.. 😂 Tell your wife to consider changing those hubcaps! I definitely got rid of those that she has.. 😎✌🏾

      @@Gary_Walker90 Yep I’m with your wife. I didn’t want to pay the premium either. I’m glad I didn’t. There’s some good after market choices out there though I’m surprised there’s not a huge amount of selection considering it basically sets your Tesla apart from others. With so many Teslas on the road, I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of people who want to do subtle things that make their cars look a little different.

    I've had my 2018 m3 for 8 months and I still love ❤it. However I'm still working on self driving capabilities for myself my dad uses it all the time. And I have the v12 update!

      Great! I’m glad it’s working out for you. I actually just installed the spring update and it’s interesting how the 2018 model 3 has most features that my 2024 model Y has but missing the complete screen visualization of the car due to the processor difference. Car still doing great though. I’m awaiting for FsD 12.4.2 or whatever to drop so I can test. Looking forward to seeing some improvements.

    I agree and understand 💯percent that will always be your experience. No matter how amazingly awesome the car is or how long you have it, you will still share this experience with people you care about. I'm sorry that was her experience as well, they should have caught that before they scheduled your delivery. I have been shopping for a Y and have not pulled the trigger just yet but I'm hoping this video helps others. Thanks again for your transparency and for sharing this, you are greatly appreciated. P.S. Stay out of them McDonald's drive-thrus lol

      @Gary_Walker90  3 месяца назад +1

      Haha. I did have McDonald’s breakfast the other day lol. I actually had the scratch fixed today which only took about an hour. The guy even said they should’ve fixed this before you got the car so they know what’s right. Just slow down on deliveries to ensure the complete customer experience is positive is all I’m asking.

    Wow. This should be titled My New Tesla Delivery Experience : Compared to my old one RANT.
    There were so many times things were repeated over an over . I even would fast fwd 10 seconds and you either repeated about no clapping or about how this doesn’t happen with other dealerships.
    Kept saying if ya see it fix it if ya see it don’t deliver it.
    I get it , it’s frustrating I would just work on delivery because this could’ve been 10 mins if you wrote down bullet points and made a short follow up listing the things at the end instead of ranting about it all over again 😅.
    Or maybe even edit it out as you go . Would be super helpful 😵‍💫
