Beautiful anthem. I sang it with Polish and Ukrainian people during the protests in front of Ukrainian embassy in Warsaw during the Ukrainian Orange Revolution in 2004. Greetings from Poland - the country which recognized an Ukrainian independency as a first in the world :-)
Two great national anthems. The Poles and Ukrainians, two brother nations who refuse to die, especially not to Russia. One of my aunts' parents immigrated from the former Ukrainian region of Poland near the Slovak border.
First off, you have no authority to speak on behalf of the greek people. Secondly, the vast majority of Greeks support Russia and Putin, as always, and not Zelensky, and you know it. Thirdly, every country of the civilized world, that is governed by the western secret ideological brotherhood, had its population replaced by immigrants from the south. Do you support this? If not, you must support Ukraine being a puppet of Putin, and not a puppet of the western ideological brotherhood, that Zelensky is obviously a member of.

@Ian Thompson You have already answered your question :) Before 2003 lyrics of anthem wasn't adopted in law. There were some verses of the Chubynskiy's text from 19th century, when this song was written, but first stanz was "Ще не вмерла Україна, і слава, і воля!" President Leonid Kuchma in 2003 proposed to change it to "Ще не вмерла України, і слава, і воля!". Why? I don't know. In practic, some people sing "(...)Україна" or not "браття молодії" but "браття українці". It's kind of tradition. But our anthem unite ukrainian nation in whole word. Never mind, starts it from "(...) України" or "(...) Україна". Ukrainians have accepted our anthem with blood. And we love this Chubynskiy's lyrics and Verbytskiy's music. 🇺🇦
I think this is one of the most beautiful national anthems in the world. I'm not Ukrainian but I want to learn it so I can sing it properly. I hope it will ring out proudly for many years yet. Slava Ukraini!
Me too, I’m working with a transliteration of the lyrics, which paradoxically is also teaching me some of the Ukrainian/Cyrillic alphabet. I have no qualms about singing national anthems from other countries. I think they’re beautiful and a window into the common/aspirational values of a nation. I’m pretty inclusive and not territorial at all if a non-United States person wants to sing our anthem, our story. Feel free! Where I lived growing up, I’d hear both the American and Mexican national anthems when terrestrial TV signed off for the night. And I once won $5 CDN when in Canada by singing “Oh, Canada” while standing with my feet straddling the US-Canadian border. When asked how I knew it, I said baseball - both the Canadian and American anthems were played before games with Toronto or Montreal. I also became used to “God Save the Queen” being played in British churches. So to learn the Ukrainian national anthem is also a way to sing part of the story of a young democracy under great stress and grief. In a way, it’s also a sung prayer for a better future. So sing with me, friends! 🌻🌻💙🇺🇦💛💛

Happy Independence Day to Ukraine and glory! 🇮🇸❤️🇺🇦 The reason why I support Ukraine, because I’m human and I support human rights and if Ukraine surrenders, there will be no more Ukraine and it won’t save lives. It will only end up in a brutal occupation like Bucha, irpin and Mariupol massacre. The main goal of Russia is that they want to destroy Ukraine as a nation, just like Rome destroyed Carthage. Happy Independence Day to Ukraine and glory!
🇮🇸❤️🇺🇦
The reason why I support Ukraine, because I’m human and I support human rights and if Ukraine surrenders, there will be no more Ukraine and it won’t save lives. It will only end up in a brutal occupation like Bucha, irpin and Mariupol massacre. The main goal of Russia is that they want to destroy Ukraine as a nation, just like Rome destroyed Carthage. Russians don’t treat Ukrainians as people.
It wasn't Russian people. Putin is aggressive and forced his citizens to believe in his lies about Ukraine.
Putin is now a modern Hitler and Stalin combined.
Glory to Ukraine!!!🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Sovereignty must be fully respected, we oppose any actions that destroies the sovereignty of any nation, and occupation against other's territory is unacceptable.
Hopefully that Ukraine can recapture all of her homeland.
@@twmj1024 continental China is a legitimate territory of Taiwanese government, also known as Republic of China, which was pushed out to Taiwan by Communists during the Chinese Civil War
Crimea, Donbas and occupied territories shall return to Ukraine.

against becoming one with the Devil.
Taiwan?
I like how there are so many Chinese people here, and i mean the ROC.
People who truly understood the value of freedom.
While less grandiose, it is more soulful, stirring, and Slavic than the USSR/Putin anthem.
Thrive on with such fortitude, love and amazing courage. You are all a smart and beautiful people. You are an incredible role model. Love and blessings
Over a thousand years the flame of independence has burned. It has been covered, dampened, and betrayed, but regardless if it be under the yoke of Moscow or in the hearts of exiles abroad it will burn a million more.
WE THE PEOPLE OF THE PHILIPPINES STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE .....
NO EVIL CAN PREVAIL BECAUSE GOD IS WITH US ALL 🙏
How can you divide everything into light and dark? That's right, no way.
I was one of those who brought medicine and such to Polish_Ukrainian border at Jarosław from Finland after the war broke out. I saw utter crisis and chaos among refugees, but not a single man. Men were staying behind to protect their homes and country, and i am proud that i could bring two families safely to Finland. Those families are safe from russian terror bombings here, so the brave men of Ukraina can focus on fighting the invader.
Respect the heroes of Ukraine that are suffering in the war for their country 🇦🇱💙💛🇺🇦🙏
Our mind is full of sympathy for Ukraine. Love from French Guiana.
Prayers sent to you Ukraine keep fighting for your country 🙏 🇺🇲❤🇺🇦
