great, just GREAT!! awhile ago I requested friends/family give me their 4 fave colors in order. Each of their responses will provide my pallet for replicating this in card-front size for multi-occasion "thinking of you" cards throughout the year to each of them. Plus i'll get to practice my brush strokes & w-c technique each time: A definite win/win!! :-)

After last week I tried to be braver with colour choice and was disappointed that I mostly just murdered lots of paper! However, I did learn many things that do not work, which, as you point out this week, is something in itself. I like your honest appraisal of your own work, finding things to love and assessing the things you like less to influence future paintings. Yea that star gold is pure magic! I had to buy the huge pan. It may last me the rest of my life but it was worth it!! I also bought some of the magic green. I love painting hummingbirds and these are perfect! Thank for sharing this! ClaudiaSJI
