So I am glad you gave both of them a chance! As a matter of fact, I have created my own "Legacy of the Republic" and "Legacy of the Revolution" scenarios. I hope to be able to share them one day

I'd be down for stressa s2 but I'd make sure to brand it as non cannon so you can make it more interesting and also because now there are less comparable moments in the timeline to ours.
14:43 why arent you using the five-coloured flag? It makes more sense given that, while Sun Yat-sen originally wanted to use the blue with a white sun, he eventually supported use of the Five Colour flag
Love to see your take on what if the Canadian colonies joined the USA in the American revolution or the USA defeated the britsh army in Canada and annex Canada. Or if the USA in 1866 swayed the Canadain colonies to join the USA as new states. With north America becoming the land of the free and home of the brave.
Stresa is really dear to me as a series, so I will definitely do a "season 2", even if its only a minor epilogue. However, I do want to diversify the content on my channel and pursue other creative outlets so I can come back to the Stresa timeline with a fresh mind. Hope you stay tuned until then!

The Socialist colonization during the scramble of Africa was an extremely controversial policy. I cut out a part attempting to explain the idiosyncrasy but essentially they argued that they were protecting the natives from capitalist colonization, and that they could provide socialism to the natives under their protection In the cut part, I was very critical of this policy, explaining it was the same civilizing narrative that the other great powers were doing. This sort of policy goes to show that even though the Peoples Republic was a socialist dominated one it wasn't truthfully adhering to Marxist principles of anti-imperialism, etc. Thanks for your comment.
And this is exactly why Marx and Lenin told socialists to be anti-war, and especially not engage in imperialist conflicts on the side of any imperialists, be it "allies" or "enemies".
