+omar dhanish yes, it all about love if you love, if you read the teachings and fall in love then become a sikh if not then no problem there are many other faiths that you may like.
+omar dhanish 1--- u can convert if u want, if you do then follow the Gurus way to get the best experience out of it 2---- the serving and protecting is apart of the religion, there is much more deeper philosophy too, the conversion is up to you 3---- yes ofcourse once you convert you try your best to follow the gurus teachings, and keep the guru in you heart, as the guru the guide and god is the guide of the guru. however God is the ultimate so connection to god is the main aim and the guru is the reflection of god.
+omar dhanish If you have a faith and already connect with God Almighty via that path and do not want to leave as Sikhs we should encourage you to connect better with God ie pray and meditate. However anyone that falls in love with Guru Ji's message/Sikhi when learning about it obviously the doors are open as that's between you and Him. Many people have fallen in love with Sikhi/Guru Ji and started following without being told they must. For those who do not want to leave their faith then Guru Ji still gives them advice on how to be better in their faith ie be guided by compassion etc and see all humans as one race. There is obviously much more to it but I hope this gives you some basic understanding of it :)
+omar dhanish religion is all about qualities. If you develop qualities like god you will merge into it. Bhai Nand lal, a hindu , was the most educated person at aurangzeb's time. when he came to know from bahadur shah that either he will be forcibly converted to islam or killed. and bahadur shah told him that if u want your life and religion to be saved...go to anandpur sahib to see guru Gobind singh ji.......... What you can do iss...develop a learning attitude and get wisdom from guru........converting is everyone's personal decision ....... we dont try to convert anyone..

I am muslim from peshawar and there are many sikhs in karhano market, i love the way they are dressed, they are always clean and wearing clean ironed clothes.
I'm a Muslim studying comparative religion as a passion of mine. I know some information about Sikhism, but I have to say that out of all religions for me to study, when the summer time comes, I know that Sikhism is going to be my favorite religion to study. I want to thank you guys for having this great channel on RUclips so everyone can learn more about Sikhi, I feel that Sikhism is very similar to Islam but people always mention Christianity or Judaism, please pray for me all my brothers and sisters and especially my Sikh brothers that Allah makes it easy for me to study and understand Sikhism when I start the full study during the summer time. thank you all.
Rafi Hossain Before studying sikhism, you should know that some (not all) videos and posts by Sikhnet and 3ho promote anti-sikh teachings such as idol worship, and dancing to recitation of prayers. But anyway, I wish you luck.
Gurtej Grewal I read a sikh book and I finished the chapter of Guru Nanak and read that Nanak after the year 1496 Nanak traveled to many countries and strictly peached against Idol worship. Thank you man. Btw what does WaheGuru ka kalsa WaheGuru Ji Ki fateh mean? I memorized the saying, I think Guru Gobind Singh mandated it as a Sikh greeting correct?
So awakening and amazing to see how much these young muslim men are openly sharing their knowledge and willing to listen too! Love the patience and wisdom being shared here within this eye opening and inspiring discussion. Please keep more videos coming!!
Wow!! This is great. First vid I've seen where there is mutual respect when talking. Those guys are actually LISTENING QUIETLY and asking questions respectfully. Great Vid! Informative.
I think some of the 'gentlemen' featured in the Speakers Corner series of videos could learn a strong lesson in humility, sincerity and respectful dialogue from our young Muslim brothers here!
+Sukhwinder S. Grewal I would agree with you on that one, but on the other hand how would we truly know about them only through one video with them. They could have other motives. It is the Muslim Rehit to convert others even if it means by force. I have a feeling that these Muslims were just there to learn more about Sikhi and were not at the level where they are able to debate.
+Tej Singh Everyone in Speakers' Corner is generally impolite and just shouts over the other person. People that are polite (of any background) usually give up on the place. I won't be surprised if the Sikhs that run this channel give up on Speakers' Corner sometime soon either.
+The Turbanator Waheguruji. I'm sorry. That is not their Rehat. (True) Muslims are not allowed to convert anybody by force, I believe it is even in the Quran.
+Sukhwinder S. Grewal Dhan Guru Nanak... Wow. Interesting response. I find it slightly Amusing... You seem to have done some research on islam to prove it as hateful... As sikhs, we should avoid looking at the negatives, and look at the positives instead. And please please please... Do not slander Muslims, or anyone for that matter. Furthermore, we are not to call islam or ANY religion, "A religion of terror". On the flip side, this may be stating the obvious but I just want to clear this up (not sure from what perspective you were referring to "Allah" as). Allah is the one God. There are different names for him. You can call him Waheguru. Allah. Hari. Whatever you want. Therefore "Allah" does not "hate non-muslims", as the one god is same regardless. Why would god hate any of his children? And to prove that claim wrong, "Allah" says IN THE VERY NEXT VERSE "And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know." - Quran 9/6. Moreover you have quoted out of context and have taken what you want from it, the following is an excerpt from an islamic website. "When we read from verse 1, it states that there was a treaty which the Pagan Arabs broke. Thus, Allah in the Quran says, that he gave them four months. Verse 9:4 states that Allah will punish those who broke the treaty, this verse is only aimed at those who broke the treaty, it did not affect those who abided by the treaty. When we read the passage (9:5), it is evident, it’s talking about a war with the pagan Arabs and Muslims." Please be careful when quoting certain excerpts as you should throughly examine everything around the particular quote so it is not interpreted out of context. If one was to only read what he wants to then there is also a line in Gurbani that can be misinterpreted. "Jin Har Hirday, Har Naam Na Basiou, Thin Maat Keejai Har Baanjhaa". Meaning that for those people, where the Lords Name does not abide within their hearts, their mothers should have been sterile and subsequently never given birth. Does this mean that those people should be slaughtered? ABSOLUTELY NOT! If the Lords Name does not abide within your heart then that would mean that your mother should have been sterile. If you were to be more extremist... Does that if the lords name doesn't abide in your heart you should now be killed? If you absolutely must point fingers at other texts, atleast don't question Gurbani, yeah? My friend.... It is easy to take these things out of context, so we should focus on the positives, do our Simran, do Sewa, and stay in Shukar. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
+Sukhwinder S. Grewal I chose that one in specific cause it seemed like the strongest quote. And no, the ISIS are NOT more practicing and NOT more truthful muslims than the average person. I don't know what on earth made you think that. I don't have to time to go around trying to prove you wrong cause that's not what I'm trying to do, brother. Take what you want from what I said, and if you don't agree with it, then disregard it. My main point was just that we shouldn't spend our time looking at the faults in other religions. Rather we should look at ourselves... look at the position of sikhs today and do our best to make a strong contribution towards the panth. Because what we are today is not the Khalsa my Guru left behind. Stay in Shukar. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Please share these videos. Too many people out their getting rid of their kes and beard because they don't know enough about their faith. Please share these videos so we can bring these lost people back!!!!
Really impressed with these Muslims young men , the way they are listening....its not about who is right or wrong....normally i see Muslims just arguing and shouting against opinion of other faith. But you guys at least have the patience to listen...Follow your own religion but respect others too...
You guys make total sense we should all realize we are all one we are one with the Universe not only are we in the Universe the Universe is within us. To the mind that is still the whole Universe surrenders.
True parchaar / missionary is when we talk/eulogize/reveal about the unifying grandeur & beauty of God to all. That's how our Gurus went about it. Today we shy away from the word 'missionaries' like it's a bad thing, forgetting that that was what the Gurus did throughout their 200+ years - which they never stopped doing - even after losing their property, home, wealth, army, family and loved ones! What they were against was: the glorification of one's own organized religion/chauvinism/conceit/deceit as revealed by Guru Gobind Singh Ji in his Swaiyyes.
WHGKK, WHGKF Brilliant discussion. I think Muslims should take a lot out of this conversation and become stronger in their faith. Jagmeet Jee, you are right about Kirpaan. Kirpaan is a conbination of Kirpa + Aan. However, Aan is honor and dignity. So, isn't the interpretation of Kirpan as a grace from Guru to protect the honor and dignity. However, Jagmeet Veerjee you ooze out so much positivity. I admire you so much. :) WHGKK, WHGKF
Sadly, I live in the so-called Bible Belt. You can't engage in a dialogue with Muslims or Christians or Atheists here. If it isn't 100% about Muhammad, Jesus, or Dawkins, then ... they don't want to hear about it. The only common ground people have here is sports. You're very blessed to be living in a country like England.
Hindu Sikh from Jammu and Kashmir,Born in hindu family and Guru is shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Sahab pankati from Sukhmani sahib ji Sarab dharm mein sresth dharam har ko nam jp kr Nirmal karam means in all religions the best religion is to remember God and to do good deeds.waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fathe.🙏🙏🙏
Waheguru. Whether you believe or disbelieve, on both sides you will just have a fancyful story. For the Gurus, Gursikhs, Saints, and Realized beings they have a living experience of the Oneness for themselves. Clearly one can see that this body is just an accumulation of food and that the mind is an accumulation of impressions. What we truly are, What is truly immortal in us, is the Oneness(or God that is more commonly used but doesn't completely capture the description of the Oneness), the Oneness that is all pervading, all doing, all achieving, all experiencing. Sikhi is about connecting with that Oneness, which is immortal, and transcending your limited nature which is subject to time.
this siki brother is straight up saying same things that are required of a muslim to be humble kind and spiritually connected to the creator so no matter what he says muslims who follow the true teaching of prophet Mohammad pbuh then he will be succesful but only thing is they believe this life can be like heaven which we dont believe because this life a test and no matter what tests are not easy to pass but once you do pass this test you will be embraced with open gates to heaven. peace
+Swedish Meatball everyone or us have an impact on one another and we also reflect from eachother so the test is not on the baby but people around them. like yourself to have faith instead of doubts.
+Swedish Meatball we believe the eternal life will be once we pass from this life to the next and that my friend will be the perfect life this life just a journey my friend. read quran you will get the real answers.
I love Sikhism so much it's the one religion that I really believe in I wanna become a Sikh can I? A lot of my family are christian tho does that matter??
anyone can become a sikh, but you should first try to find the bliss of your religion. if then still you want to take up sikhi then you can because all religions end up to one devine energy.
I am a Hindu. But I love my Sikh brothers and sisters. In which language has the original Sikh Holy Book Guru Granth Sahib been written ? Is it written in Punjabi language ? Where can we get a English translation of the holy book ? I would like to learn more about Sikh Religion.
Love and respect for all the people with good intentions no matter their religion or beliefs. I got question if there is anyone that could answer. Why did God create us, humans? According to the words of God that we have today on earth in form of various books of course. Thanks. bless you
Jo HIND ki Chaadar ko NAA Peehchane, Voh Insaan NAA Kehlaave.....the sacrifices of the SIKH GURU's is sacred to India's History. Sadly, 90% of Indian schools do not even teach the Sikh History.
Islam is best monotheistic faith. Universe has one creator. Its teachings are logical. No racism, alcohol is bad for health and society. Adultery is bad for marriage and soceity.Benifits of fasting one month a year, meditation and remembering God 5 times (salah), Circucision etc are scientifically proven to be beneficial to person.
Respect to the muslims brothers for listening and asking questions without interrupting lol

Really looking forward to the upcoming dialogue video
So beautiful, thankyou for sharing the stories in a way that we can all understand.

Brilliant discussion. :)

very nice conversation.. waheguru! :)
Waheguru ji 🙏🙏
Beautifully explained#Sikhi❤️
Sufism of Islam and Sikhism is very much alike
I love Sikhi.
I learned a lot from this
Sadly, I live in the so-called Bible Belt. You can't engage in a dialogue with Muslims or Christians or Atheists here. If it isn't 100% about Muhammad, Jesus, or Dawkins, then ... they don't want to hear about it. The only common ground people have here is sports. You're very blessed to be living in a country like England.
smadeintheshade lord. ...the Bible belt...

Nope
Pandits didn't stop anyone from praying. The guy who wrote ramayana was not pandit. Please don't disrespect others.
