  • This is the best Alfredo sauce that I have ever eaten..the seasoning was perfect..adding the broccoli and bacon just elevated the flavor to a new level..Hopefully you will add flavor and a level of healthiness to your Alfredo..
    Recipe
Pasta of choice..I used gluten free, or for real low carb, use hearts of palm..cook to box directions
3 chicken breast..cut to your choice and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder
    2 cups heavy cream
    3 tablespoons butter
    1/2 tablespoon minced garlic
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    2/3 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1 cup broccoli florets..cut in bite sized pieces
    6-7 slices bacon,,cooked until crisp
In a large skillet, cook your chicken until done..size of your chicken pieces will determine how long to cook it.
Remove chicken from skillet..in same skillet add butter, salt, pepper, minced garlic and heavy cream..cook until it begins to thicken, about 6-7 minutes ..add Parmesan cheese and broccoli..cook about 2 minutes..add bacon, reserving some for garnish..
Serve as desired..may mix it in a large bowl or May can be served by laying down your pasts, then sauce and topped with bacon..
    ENJOY 🌹🌹

I have the same colander it was my mom’s. I am 74 years old, so you can imagine how old it is. I like it much better for certain situations such as you did for keeping your pasta warm. Great idea.

I found it at an antique shop.. It even folds up so you can put it away. I love it. I will look for the name brand and let you know who makes it.
