This video is vey helpful. I have the same insignia and i can t wait now to change my break pads myself. Thank you! Cheers mate! 😊
Glad it helped
Can I ask what grease do you use for the calliper pins?
Apec
Cual es el par de apriete para los 4 tornillos que lleva la pinza de freno??
En este modelo, no sé cuál es la especificación de su modelo.Brake caliper to carrier Front28 NmTwin piston caliper = 32 Nm
@@rpsspain1966 es una insignia también, por eso era mi duda, muchas gracias por tu respuesta ahora ya se el torque
Did you push that screwdriver against the disc to push piston back?if so isn’t there risk of damaging the disc
There is not much force behind a properly functioning piston so the disc will be fine.
Pumping the pedal once pads have been fitted I always pump the pedal while engine running,
Makes no difference other than servo assistance.
Did that insignia have locking wheel nuts,if so I’d never use an impact gun on the locking wheel nut, that’s my thought,no offense intended or implied
Can not remember, however I use the gun and if the wheel nuts do not spin off as they should I won't carry on with the impact, putting them on I just snug them up with the gun and then torque them up.
