Amazing how robots can do all the repetitive tasks. Working in a factory is much safer now. [The U.S. Mint is a money-factory.] ... There are still plenty of jobs for people to do. The idea that ~everyone can stay home and just eat pizza is really a comic-book idea.
What is that gold coin at the very beginning of the video 2016 looks like a eagle coin but a full Eagle on the reverse and says half dollar? Where can I get one?
Hello. Here is the coin: www.usmint.gov/coins/coin-medal-programs/centennial-gold-coins/walking-liberty. To purchase this coin from 2016, you would have to locate a coin dealer.
Great behind the scenes footage, thank you. Our customers love US Mint bullion coin products (gold, silver, platinum, palladium)
Thanks for checking in!
Extremely interesting! Thanks for sharing.
One million dollars for one of those orange boxes.
so thats how they get all scratched and dinged
The metal content is still there, that’s the most important psrt
To JP Morgan off they go.
Well, in fairness, I wouldn’t trust myself to stop handling one, so I’d probably store it somewhere too
I love the work you guys do. You guys create the best of the best. I want to work for you guys.

I wonder if this video is going to be worth something someday due to the "Walking Liberty Centennial Gold" coin tubing error. :)
Look at all those boxes of silver. No wonder the price of silver will never go over $50.00.

how many jobs did those robots take ? I cant support this.
People always complain about outsourcing, but we’ve lost more than 10times as many jobs to automation and no one says a damn thing about that.
Why is the US mint so terribly inefficient making ASEs the last 3 years? Will they ever be able to meet demand again for American customers?
