The steps outlined in this presentation can help any company successful map out their plan for success. Any great company in the world today is built off of organization and well-prepared strategy. In order to do this, companies must map out where they currently believe they are, and where they wish to be in the near and far future. If this is overlooked, companies are going into an already ever-changing world behind their competition. Some steps that I could especially relate to were focused around planning the vision of a company. This is such a complex task to perform since it is so difficult to look into the future which may be filled with unknowns. The speaker notes that while the future is unknown, the company has a position to write their own future. This allows companies to create a positive environment around them that leaves a positive impact on the world. In addition to this, the concept of risk is covered which has a great impact on each and every company. Risk is also a complex topic that can positively or negative impact an organization. It is essential to follow the basis of these steps and understand that they are not optional or recommended. Each of these steps puts a company in the best position possible to succeed and make a strong impact on the world around them.
