Since I was a free to play, I had the big brain idea to try and beat them at their own game by going Pyro, and airblasting them whenever they shoved someone. It quickly descended into a two-hour shove duel, and that's one of the most precious memories I have of TF2: the two Shortstop scouts named "wallop mc snazzypants", and his daring sidekick "the moose".

Nubbi also ran the market gardener for a while iirc. Soldier mains began using it and it's more and more common.

One of my favorite tf2 stories was around mid 2020, when I got back into tf2. I hadn’t played since gun mettle, so almost everything was different to me, including the shortstop. I was playing on Hightower and some default scout walked up to me, shortstop pushed me about half a foot into a wall, and ran away. The whole thing was so stupid that I fell out of my chair laughing
I didn't know anything significant about video games until 2015, and only found out about TF2 in 2020 I must say, this is truly a gentleman's game. The skill ceiling is incredibly high, and movement/ability combinations are unmatched. Kudos to the developers, it plays like a movie.
