U FORGOT THE GLASS BORDER AROUND THE FINAL LAYER FOR MAX SPAWN RATES (there's also a child in the bartering farm
Its on now and I cut my piglin count in half incase the almost 40 piglin's were messing with the spawn rates as well! Thanks so much!
@@ChapmanMain 1.18+ spawning mechanics are what were cutting into your original farm as they apply to the Nether and End in addition to the Overworld. The game checks ALL blocks at a x,z coordinate from the lowest block at that coordinate (basically bottom layer of bedrock for Nether and Overworld and bottom of an end island in the End usually) to the highest. It will check ALL blocks inbetween including air space and nonspawnable blocks to try and spawn a hostile mob at the x,z coordinate. The more spaces for the game to check at the coordinate, the more failures you're going to get.
That does not take away from your great victory in this video which definitely should be celebrated :D! I just hope I have been useful in helping you plan other mob related things in the future!
The child would despawn without nametag
First of all the glass doesnt hlp with spawn rates but it prevents ghast from spawning second the child wasnt nametagged and wouldve despawned

does having the piglin mobs in render distance of the gold farm lower the spawn rates?
!! !! !! !! .... I think that may be what is lowering some of the rates! After another hour+ of despawning it got a lot faster but its def not max... I was going to do the ring around the top but I think you nailed it and I may have overlooked that fact....

1.19... and when I go to 1.19.2 ill swap the eggs out for golems lol this is minecraft... not rocket science

I think you just dont have enough spawning spaces on the first gold farm, it is very similar to mumbo jumbo/rays works looting gold farm but for some reason you seperated all the spawing platforms which cut down the total spawning spaces by a lot

You can make the piglins trading rate faster but you need a redstone clock with a sticky piston moving a black of gold. It increases the piglin trading speed it’s instant.
