It uses the same parts as the BN2-20. Roland was out of stock so long I started packing these with absorbant material. Messy but does save money too.

Is this machine spending so much ink?
Hello! Not sure what’s considered so much since this is my first UV printer. The machine does regular cleaning cycles to keep the head in good condition. I’ve never had a bad nozzle test so far even without using it for a month.
