Donoven Francis trust me, with the multirotor used in this video it will have altitude hold, stabilisation and gps lock. He literally plunked it in the path of the boat and let it sit there, almost hands off. Sooo easy, if i was willing to risk a drone i could eaaasily do that.

Problem with modern yacht racing is that it has no relevance to anyone. The 'yachts' are barely seaworthy. I didn't even realise the America's cup was on. It used to get so much coverage. The sport has become too obscure.
