I would have shared this with a mom, but the "birthing person" verbage is just so disrespectful.
We have such blind misogyny we're accepting the erasure of women as "inclusive" or "compassionate".
Lying to people is not compassionate.
Women deserve recognition for our ability to give birth.

Not everyone who can give birth is or identifies as a woman. Most do, but there's nothing wrong with using inclusive language.

It’s scary to think that now being called a women or mother is somehow offensive to people or a taboo topic. It’s one of the greatest joys and blessings that we get as women to be one day called a mother/mom and that it’s one of the things that sets us apart from men, the way God created us to be. It’s truly sad that’s being taken away from us. It’s a shame bc this is a very well put together video but I can’t get past her using all these other words to describe something that already has a name MOTHER/WOMEN. Since when does a man with male body parts give birth? I just don’t understand.
The only one who seems to be taking offense, is you. Also, women aren't only good for giving birth. We are good for so much more than that. And not everyone believes in God either. It's more based on biology, human anatomy and sexual reproduction.
Let people have the option to educate themselves on the birthing process without pushing your christofascist agenda on them. That is very inconsiderate of anyone who may not have your beliefs/preferences.

Despite the video there is actually little the laboring woman can do the change the baby's position for birth. Mostly the position is based on gravity and just what happens naturally. So if you change positions and your baby still comes out occiput posterior AKA "sunny side up" don't blame yourself!
You have mentioned about getting "more room in our pelvis to make the baby birth normal"...how do we do that?

Super informative video. For 1rst time mom, at stage 2. how long do contractions last and in every how many minutes they come without epidural?
How do I tell my doctor I want to wait 3-5 minutes to clamp the cord?
I'd ask what are their standard practices around cord clamping first, and then explain that you really want it to be delayed. I think they have to respect your request.
I would suggest making a "Birth Plan", which is a paper that you print out to give to all your doctors/nurses when you arrive at the hospital!
On that, include that you would like for your cord to not be clamped for 3-5 minutes (among other things you want for your birth).
You can Google "birth plan" for more info on what could possibly be on the document!

New information actually studied with Zhang in 2010 noted that there is no transition. The first stage of labor has two phases, early or latent, from 0-6 cm, and active - from 6-10 cm. LChurch CNM, FACNM, MSN
Question:- how can you tell if a woman can't deliver vaginal? Or in what step of labour? Can this happen naturally and how can you tell?? Thank you a lot.
I think that if the woman is pushing too long and the baby just will not come out, they’ve exhausted all options, then they’ll go for a c section

You do realise that "woman" is not actually a term that refers to anatomy right? She's literally talking about a person that's giving birth aka birthing person? Why on earth would that be incorrect? Like? Are they not, in fact, a person giving birth??
