My wife and I have been lucky financially as it was mostly upward trajectory in our life in HK. That was because we didn't buy much stuff because the places we lived were small and we didn't need a car. It also helped our salaries went up after every childbirth. Most beneficial was we had a katulong which enabled my wife to pursue her career fully.

Okay lang naman sa Calgary. Although big city basta wag ka lang pumasok sa utang na malalaki gaya ng sasakyan at ibang mga gamit na bibilhin mo from credit or loan.
