    *DEATH NOTE SPOILERS*
This piece makes me think of Light Yagami’s final movements in the anime when he’s walking up the stairs. It starts off peaceful and quiet and tragic because his death itself is pitifully unceremonious, and then the theme returns in a swell, remembering what he had and wanted to change about the world in his final moments before calming down as he dies just like everybody else.

Beautiful. Prefer the slower tempo to savor the harmony, timing and shading.

Different but as good as Pogorelich.
