In my pre teen years I became an atheist and my life was full of anger, fear, and uncertainty. In my early teen years I was diagnosed with a blood disorder and I was not allowed to go outside anymore. While reading watching some documentary I came across one about Grand Duchess Anastasia and became instantly fascinated by the mystery of her story. Later on I found out about her mother, sisters, and little brother. The more I learned about them the more I felt like they were people I had known before. I learned about their faith in God and the Lord Jesus; and how they were murdered because of it. I started reading more about Orthodox Christianity and eventually converted. I found my way back to the Lord Jesus. My disorder is not gone but I pray all us sickly people may go to Heaven and run around all day! Everybody that reads this please do not lose faith in Jesus Christ, I have been there and it was horrible...
That is an amazing story and sign how grateful and good our Lord Jesus Christ is. To all reading this: We all go through tough times, we all suffer in our sins and we all feel the pain. I've been there and I tried going away from Christ and I tried coming near to Christ, and believe me, I felt much better when being near to Christ and when I went away, I sufferd even more. So remember: You are not alone, God is always with you, never lose faith. God bless you, God bless you all, God bless everyone in pain and everyone suffering. God be with you!
I may be non-denominational Protestant and thus unfamiliar with the Orthodox faith, but the story of the Romanov children often moves me. They were very devout and put their faith into action, something which I admire. I have also written an alternate history series where the Russian Empire survives through the mid-20th century. OTMA lives, and Olga becomes the heiress. Reach out to me if it is in your interest. Anyways, I think that if the Romanovs continued to reign, there would be no Cold War including the smaller Korean and Vietnam Wars. Things would have been somewhat better.

I love this calm and beautiful song . It made me calm about the my nationalist sentiments . I love Russia . I am not only a patriot or nationalist . For me , Russia is my second Mom .I love them both very much
A beautiful piece of music. Too bad Russia did not adopt this as their anthem in 1991. I listen to this song before bed to calm my mind. I am not religious at all, but believe some music associated with Christianity is the most beautiful.
This Is Not Just Russian Orthodox Song/Russian Proposal Anthem, But This Is A Pray Song Too. MAY BOLSHEVIK AND THEM MEMBER GOT CONDEMNATION. GOD SAVE THE TSAR!!!! GOD BLESS THE RUSSIAN ORTHODOX!!!!
Nah they died because they put their nation into the hands of greedy fuedal landlords. They were not 'killed for their faith' my friend, they died because they partied while the poor starved, just like the pharisees. You cannot serve god and money and the people who party while their people starve were never looked at very kindly by the lord jesus nor his father, as highlighted by jesus's greedy king parable. No one dserves to die by the hand of man, but when you destroy your people for your pocket, its to be expected.
I am extremely skeptical of the Romanovs and of them I can list only 4 great rulers: Alexei Mikhalovich, Peter the Great, Paul the First and Alexander the Third. The rest, at best, did not have time to live to see the triumph (Elizaveta Petrovna), or did little at all (all the rulers of the era of palace coups + Peter II), or, under the guise of benefactors, planted a bomb under the empire (Peter the Third, Alexander II, Nicholas II, Catherine Great). Of all, only Nicholas the first stands out, who made 2 very serious miscalculations: he helped Austria retain control over Hungary and did not feel the situation that favored the war of all against Russia. If Hungary were in his hands, then Austria would not have hinted at the Russian troops in Wallachia, and proper logistics and gorisons, plus a daring attack by Admiral Nakhimov’s squadron on Constantinople (there was such a plan, but it was rejected by the commander-in-chief Prince Menshikov) would ensure complete security for Sevastopol and throughout the Black Sea. What am I talking about, the Romanovs are a dynasty chosen by the boyars, with the living Rurikovichs. The Ruriks ruled the Russian land for more than 7 centuries from its very inception, and therefore, if anyone claims to be sacred and of divine origin, it is they. Understand correctly, I myself consider myself Orthodox, but the Romanovs are not the most trusted people.

When we sang it at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church on Fort Wayne, it was called "Great Glory to the Lord in Sion" or just "Great Glory" for short.☦

Hello! I would like to read your alternate history series. I'm also moved by the Romanov story.
