I did this in the past in elementary school when i was really into the series, but I just kinda read a couple of the super editions after. Now, many years alter, I want to do a mega binge, so this video really helps :)
I would've put Graystripe's Adventure after The Sight just so readers would understand what happened to him during his absence. I know its skippable but it is a really good read. Me personally, I started with the Graystripe Mangas. It was kinda like I was learning the ropes of the clans alongside Millie. It got me interested I checking the series out more, and learing what all the weird dialogue and other stuff meant.
I have a question!!is this in the order that most things will make sense and there will be little to no spoilers? And which books should i read after I finish shadow stars life?

Personally, it’s fine to read Bluestar’s, Crookedstar’s, and Yellowfang’s Super editions after the first arc but that’s just what I did. For new readers, have fun!

When I was New I just read Into the Wild Fire and Ice Forest of Secrets (Those are the ones my mum got me then I just read warriors books at the school libary) Midnight Moonrise Firestars Quest and Dawn (I read them at the same time Dawn at school cus we had books to read at school and Firestars Quest at home) And I didn't read anything after that😃
Are the super addition books Necessary? I only have into the wild to sunset so I have two chapters. Because if I read ahead will I be confused? I’ve read into the wild and it’s the only one I’ve read, I’ve read a bit of fire and Ice. Whatever your opinion is I’ll try get the super additions for the first chapter!!
There are are about 75 books (im pretty sure well thats what counted on this list here you made),but there has been books made since this list was made and there is currently around 80-90 + warriors books. Ok I think this video is only missing this years releases, so you can read Onestar’s confession anytime after A Vision of Shadows arc, Exile from shadowclan can be read anytime after the first arc and it would be better after yellowfang’s secret as well. And A Starless clan River can be read right after the Broken code is over 😌 and Sky comes out next month and it should take place directly after River! I hope this helps! There were no novellas this year unfortunately 🥲😂 they were my favs
If I may ask, theres a new super edition Riverstar's Home and i dont know when I should read it. Probably after DOTC but I'm struggling getting them somewhere in these novellas and super editions after DOTC.
I have only read the first few chapters and they were taking place sometime before the DOTC arc started but I’d wait until it’s finished and the other 3 side stories, Mothflights vision, Thunderstars echo and Shadowstars life just in case since no one knows yet unless they got the book early 🤔

It’ll be ok, you’re gonna hear a prophecy soon, and the prophecy comes from a cat from fire star’s quest but it’s not important really. I would at least read it before you read A vision of shadows though
The novellas are short story bind ups of 3 separate stories of random character stories. They’re completely separate from the Super Editions which are a large book written for 1 character with one story 👍 I hope that helps
@@kaykinz2549 ooops i feel stupid. What i meant was if the novellas with three characters in it were shortening and leaving parts out of the seperate books of said characters. Like the novella shadow of the clans has mapleshades vengeance, goosefeathers curse etc. All these titles included in the one novella all have their respective books. Would reading the separate books that are included in the novella be any different than reading the novella with all three of them. Sorry for mistaking the super editions with the novellas lol
@@orangejuice_1014 oh ok, so usually the novellas are about side characters or stories that are rarely mentioned at all in the main series and maybe touched on in the Super editions, so not reading the novellas would be fine but you wouldn’t get the stories from any other material or have it explained anywhere else. The dawn of the clans character novellas especially as it continues the main plot since the arc ends a bit early on 🤔 I hope I explained that to where it makes sense?

Them as kits is only written a few pages in Ravenpaw’s path, they don’t have actual pov before apprenticeship, theirs mostly just a timeskip with some supplemental material that will fill a few bits of the gap but that’s it
Listening to the audio books and im getting confused on books 4-5 or a dangerous path and rising storm since. Rising storm is 4th and a dangerous path is 5.
I have one more question (ik I’m very annoying rlly sorry 😅) but uh for the super edition’s and manga in between the new prophesy and the power of three, dose it matter what order you read it in? Because I started reading crookedstars promise first because I didn’t have any of the others, I only got them yesterday (except for skyclan and the stranger) so I was wondering what book to read after? Because I have bluestars prophesy and skyclans destiny. (Sorry if you don’t understand I did write a lot)
The order of those don’t really matter, the only one that does is I’d read Skyclans destiny before Skyclan and the stranger because it continues from that, but other then that, bluestar and Crookedstar’s books take place before into the wild and at the same time so it doesn’t matter
Can I skip the novellas? I don’t like having books with multiple stories I can’t read until later on, because I might impulsively pick it up and read one of the ones I shouldn’t be reading yet. I also don’t want to read the manga, it kind of doesn’t match with the main storyline, and it will probably make me think I’m reading a different series entirely. I’m okay with the super editions because they’re one story with words, much like the originals. I also don’t need my mom dropping hundreds of dollars on a book series I just got into, so I need to take that into consideration. Warriors is an insanely complex series.
I don't really feel like spending like $200 dollars on all of the books so am I able t do it THE PROPHECIES begin and then the new prophecy. POWER of three OMEN of the stars and then read DAwn of the Clans after or before And still get the story ?
@@Sarahmireles07 you don’t need to read them unless you want more backstory to two of the villains that start to make appearances (I actually don’t think they really appear much until the fourth anyways) but their backstories are not important and don’t make much of a difference so if you don’t care about that then you’re good! Both really good books tho!

Well honestly that is how they originally wrote it, you just finding out like that, because Firestar’s quest wasn’t written until around the same time as the sight anyways so you just ready it in release order instead lol
It’s about the kids of The new prophecy characters, growing up in thunderclan with a mysterious prophecy hanging over their heads and being born with weird powers because of it! It’s very good I tried to keep it vague lol
Her book takes place through the end half of Crookedstar’s promise, and the first arc. It has a bit of her talking after the new prophecy I believe but nothing too crazy so I’d say anytime after the first arc and crookedstar’s promise
Just wanna throw in as a disclaimer, you can skip all the extra material and just read the arcs and be just fine, the story just flows better with some of them included but only reading the arcs won’t ruin the experience for you! Lol
With skyclan and the stranger manga I've bought 'the rescue' as a single manga , should i have bought the 3 in 1 manga which contains all three of the mangas of skyclan and the stranger? Or should i go and buy 'beyond the code' and 'after the flood'?😅
If you want to be involved with discussions rise of Scourge is talked about a lot. And gray stripes adventure fills in some gaps but overall you really don’t have to read anything but the main arcs if you don’t want to
Do you think its necessary to read Dovewing's Silence, Bramblestar's, Moth Flight's Vision, Hawkwing's Journey, Tigerheart's Shadow, Squirrelflight's Hope and Graystripe's Vow? If i won't read them, will i dont understand something?
So dovewing and Bramblestars stories take place in between Omen of the stars and a vision of shadows, so there are a few plot points you’ll miss but not super super important. Mothflights book depends on if you’re reading Dawn of the clans, because it’s a continuation of the arc so you’ll miss a bunch without it. Hawkwings journey takes place during the first book of a vision of shadows, you could skip it but avos wont hit as emotionally if you do but you can, tiger hearts can be skipped, I’d highly recommend not skipping Squirrelflights and make sure you read it before lost stars or you get a major character death spoiled for you and it introduces the sisters who are very important. Gray stripes is skipable, mostly written for nostalgia
@@jayfeather0946 so from what I remember, the only thing ravenpaw’s farewell will spoil is Graystripes vow, but it’s really good so I highly recommend it, it’s more of a skyclan story, takes place quite a bit after Skyclan and the stranger or a bit before dovewings silence or at the same time

So you can wait to read it if you would like! I just suggest reading it anytime before A Vision of shadows! It just takes place directly after Firestar’s quest but it’s only about the skyclan group and takes place during what I assume is the same time as The new prophecy somewhere. But neither plot really affect each other until A Vision of Shadows so it doesn’t really matter. And if you really didn’t wanna read it it’s not gonna mess up that much for you besides making it harder to get attached to the skyclan cast when they’re introduced into the main plot

The only thing is a villain introduced in Arc 3s backstory is shown in Skyclan and the stranger, but skyclan and the stranger was written after arc 3. So you can read it anytime as long as it’s in between skyclans destiny and Ravenpaw’s farewell takes place a bit after it but I wouldn’t read that until the end half of arc 4 I would imagine 🤔
It’s a bit outdated now but at the time of recording it has everything but the field guides in it I believe. Because they’re really cool but it’s just extra material and a lot of it gets retconned I think? It’s been a bit though

Ok I think this video is only missing this years releases, so you can read Onestar’s confession anytime after A Vision of Shadows arc, Exile from shadowclan can be read anytime after the first arc and it would be better after yellowfang’s secret as well. And A Starless clan River can be read right after the Broken code is over 😌 and Sky comes out next month and it should take place directly after River!

If I may ask, theres a new super edition Riverstar's Home and i dont know when I should read it. Probably after DOTC but I'm struggling getting them somewhere in these novellas and super editions after DOTC.
I have only read the first few chapters and they were taking place sometime before the DOTC arc started but I’d wait until it’s finished and the other 3 side stories, Mothflights vision, Thunderstars echo and Shadowstars life just in case since no one knows yet unless they got the book early 🤔

I kinda missed Firestars quest after the first arc and went straight to The New Prophecy. Im now on the first book of the third arc but like was ut ok to miss Firestars quest?
It’ll be ok, you’re gonna hear a prophecy soon, and the prophecy comes from a cat from fire star’s quest but it’s not important really. I would at least read it before you read A vision of shadows though
And it just fills in some gaps like, what happened when Longtail got injured, bramble’s warrior ceremony, willowpelt’s death, stuff like that

Are the novellas just super editions merged together? Would reading the individual super editions rather than the novellas change anything
The novellas are short story bind ups of 3 separate stories of random character stories. They’re completely separate from the Super Editions which are a large book written for 1 character with one story 👍 I hope that helps
@@kaykinz2549 ooops i feel stupid. What i meant was if the novellas with three characters in it were shortening and leaving parts out of the seperate books of said characters. Like the novella shadow of the clans has mapleshades vengeance, goosefeathers curse etc. All these titles included in the one novella all have their respective books. Would reading the separate books that are included in the novella be any different than reading the novella with all three of them.

@@orangejuice_1014 oh ok, so usually the novellas are about side characters or stories that are rarely mentioned at all in the main series and maybe touched on in the Super editions, so not reading the novellas would be fine but you wouldn’t get the stories from any other material or have it explained anywhere else. The dawn of the clans character novellas especially as it continues the main plot since the arc ends a bit early on 🤔 I hope I explained that to where it makes sense?

Them as kits is only written a few pages in Ravenpaw’s path, they don’t have actual pov before apprenticeship, theirs mostly just a timeskip with some supplemental material that will fill a few bits of the gap but that’s it

I have one more question (ik I’m very annoying rlly sorry 😅) but uh for the super edition’s and manga in between the new prophesy and the power of three, dose it matter what order you read it in? Because I started reading crookedstars promise first because I didn’t have any of the others, I only got them yesterday (except for skyclan and the stranger) so I was wondering what book to read after? Because I have bluestars prophesy and skyclans destiny. (Sorry if you don’t understand I did write a lot)
The order of those don’t really matter, the only one that does is I’d read Skyclans destiny before Skyclan and the stranger because it continues from that, but other then that, bluestar and Crookedstar’s books take place before into the wild and at the same time so it doesn’t matter

Can I skip the novellas? I don’t like having books with multiple stories I can’t read until later on, because I might impulsively pick it up and read one of the ones I shouldn’t be reading yet. I also don’t want to read the manga, it kind of doesn’t match with the main storyline, and it will probably make me think I’m reading a different series entirely. I’m okay with the super editions because they’re one story with words, much like the originals. I also don’t need my mom dropping hundreds of dollars on a book series I just got into, so I need to take that into consideration. Warriors is an insanely complex series.
Yeah you can just skip em. You can really skip any of the side stories if you want
The only thing is if you do happen to read the prequel set then their novellas kinda complete the story but you won’t miss too much

@@Sarahmireles07 you don’t need to read them unless you want more backstory to two of the villains that start to make appearances (I actually don’t think they really appear much until the fourth anyways) but their backstories are not important and don’t make much of a difference so if you don’t care about that then you’re good! Both really good books tho!

i kinda messed up haha, i read Into the wild , Fire and ice, Forest of secrets, Rising storm , Dangerous path, Darkest hour, Midnight, Moonrise, Dawn, Starlight , Twilight , then before sunset i looked back and was like hmm? what's firestars quest then hated myself :[ reading that now before i finish season 2. the way i found out i missed a book as when they mentioned Longtail being blind and i was like ''blind! what! when?! i looked away for 5 secends longtail what happened!'' lmao
Well honestly that is how they originally wrote it, you just finding out like that, because Firestar’s quest wasn’t written until around the same time as the sight anyways so you just ready it in release order instead lol

Her book takes place through the end half of Crookedstar’s promise, and the first arc. It has a bit of her talking after the new prophecy I believe but nothing too crazy so I’d say anytime after the first arc and crookedstar’s promise

Just wanna throw in as a disclaimer, you can skip all the extra material and just read the arcs and be just fine, the story just flows better with some of them included but only reading the arcs won’t ruin the experience for you! Lol

With skyclan and the stranger manga I've bought 'the rescue' as a single manga , should i have bought the 3 in 1 manga which contains all three of the mangas of skyclan and the stranger? Or should i go and buy 'beyond the code' and 'after the flood'?😅

Do you think its necessary to read Dovewing's Silence, Bramblestar's, Moth Flight's Vision, Hawkwing's Journey, Tigerheart's Shadow, Squirrelflight's Hope and Graystripe's Vow? If i won't read them, will i dont understand something?
So dovewing and Bramblestars stories take place in between Omen of the stars and a vision of shadows, so there are a few plot points you’ll miss but not super super important. Mothflights book depends on if you’re reading Dawn of the clans, because it’s a continuation of the arc so you’ll miss a bunch without it. Hawkwings journey takes place during the first book of a vision of shadows, you could skip it but avos wont hit as emotionally if you do but you can, tiger hearts can be skipped, I’d highly recommend not skipping Squirrelflights and make sure you read it before lost stars or you get a major character death spoiled for you and it introduces the sisters who are very important. Gray stripes is skipable, mostly written for nostalgia

So you can wait to read it if you would like! I just suggest reading it anytime before A Vision of shadows!
It just takes place directly after Firestar’s quest but it’s only about the skyclan group and takes place during what I assume is the same time as The new prophecy somewhere. But neither plot really affect each other until A Vision of Shadows so it doesn’t really matter.
And if you really didn’t wanna read it it’s not gonna mess up that much for you besides making it harder to get attached to the skyclan cast when they’re introduced into the main plot

So you can read it anytime as long as it’s in between skyclans destiny and Ravenpaw’s farewell takes place a bit after it but I wouldn’t read that until the end half of arc 4 I would imagine 🤔

It’s a bit outdated now but at the time of recording it has everything but the field guides in it I believe. Because they’re really cool but it’s just extra material and a lot of it gets retconned I think? It’s been a bit though
