This is more of a opinion question so I guess I’ll say this right off the bat. I’m adding these on my Christmas list this year and I know people are in between about the sound quality but here’s the thing, I’ve used headphones before that doesn’t provide noise cancellation but does have great sound quality. I can’t wait until I get these for Christmas this year.
No wear detection, ANC/Transparency or Customizable app to make EQ adjustments. If beats is able to add these to future releases i'd consider buying their product.
Skip. $200 in 2024 with no ANC and transparency mode when the competition like Sony offers class leading ANC using their V1 chip from the 1000XM5 at the same price is just crazy.
I will take no anc any day. I absolutely prefer that. Noise cancellation is overated and it prevents them from working wired when the battery tuns out. HUGE plus 😊 Also, over ears >>>
@@AlexaSteelAuthor then switch off ANC on occasions when we do not want ANC for whatever reasons. Understand about personal preference between on ears and over ears. I used to have Sennheiser on ears before for their compactness and it is slightly cooler (less prone to heating compared to over ears), but it's less comfortable for me and even less passive noise isolation.
I bought the Pharrell Williams Solo 2 or 3 years ago, they turn off and on when you fold / unfold them. These new Solo 4 don’t do that so I’m surprised an older model would.
I have the Beats Studio pro since last November I’ve got then during the Black Friday deals discounts for 180 on Best Buy, they are amazing good sound quality, good battery life I’ve bought this over the air pods max since they are over updated.
I can use my marshall major IV nine hours without any ear pain 😏 also love the fact that battery life on those are 80 hours 🤤 built quality are amazing without a case almost 2 years and not any problems i had beats solo 3… trash like sound quality is amazing but built quality… disaster after 3 months ear cushion was coming off i changed it 3 times and all of those 3 pairs had the same issue… I mean the 2nd pair one of the leather pads comes off after 6 monts and 3 time it was after 4 months on the 4th time i requested money back because i was so pissed….
What do you think? Would you Buy or Skip the Beats Solo4?!

If you can get the solo 3 for 89 to 100 bucks this upgrade isn’t worth it. I can’t believe they ditched the product red colorway!

maybe I should do a comparison with the Beats Studio Pro 🤨
My first Studio Pros Snapped because of too much clamping force. Sent them in with warranty claim. New pair is fine.
Beats aren’t my style, but it’s good to see them packing more features (especially the Android ones) into a smaller and more affordable pair.

Bought. I can understand why ANC is a deal breaker for some, but it's not at all for me.
Like others have written I believe the Beats Studio Pro are a much better option. They are always on sale for less than 200

Bought them and loved them. 8 out of 10
This must be a paid advertisement. For $200 it should have ANC. They sound crappy also.
ANC causes cancer
nice ad
SKIP
They are a waste of money. I hate these.
