I've slowly been collecting camping cookware for a bit now and I've just heard of Opinel within the past month and wished I had heard of them sooner! My 10 and 10 with corkscrew arrived a couple of days ago and the bottle opener works like a charm! Saw these two attachments and immediately bought the set and I can't wait to get them out into the campsite! For the price, these knives are rock solid.
That’s a good idea though I reckon they should have firstly made a either small saw or maybe a serrated blade with a number 8 handle to include in the kit so that you can have two handles.
Well, that's just inconvenient. I think I'll just go with my Opinel No8 knife and a spork. That way my spoon & fork both have convenient full length handle & I'm not forced to put my fingers anywhere near my knife blade when cutting tough meat on a light weight plate balanced precariously on my knees while sitting on a less than conveniently shaped rock.
Another thing that duplicates something(s) I already have but will probably buy anyway. I keep a Microbites kit in my shoulder bag and use it quite often but this has a better spoon. So, there, I can justify it.
That man was nervous, but I can onderstand that. He is an very good man, also gentil . He as my blessings Together with my food container and thermos, Stanley's and opinel, French,...I'll be fine. Thank jou for the video. I 'm gonna search for that model, tomorrow. Model nr.8 is my favorite. Very thin blade, but it's slices. Thank you for the video. Also there is also an douk douk, also made in France . There are an lot of beautiful knifes, I don' t like the "Rambo knifes." Grandpa's knifes, just to eat an apple,, sincerely . Lucas
It is a good idea but why don't you sell it with 2 no 8 knives. Perhaps a model without a blade, but with other useful stuff like a bottle opener and corkscrew. Most people use the fork and spoon together.
I do like it, but Opinels are prone to swelling. This means certain meals using the spoon in particular need to be carefully eaten. They should have used a synthetic handle for the picnic+ kit
OK idea, but this would require you to fold in your dirty knife, when you want to use the fork or spoon. So, bringing two more knives would be your solution.
this is interesting I have a #8 but not what you think I have the Garden Knife here's hoping the #8 is the same if not I'll have to buy another knife...🤪 like I need another knife...🙄 they taste my blood then they're mine... ah ha ha ha!
yep, got it and it's NEAT but... it doesn't clip together well, pretty much falls apart in the wrap the spoon & fork clip doesn't work on what I got doesn't fit all #8's but I got the standard with my order and it's a bit fiddly getting it locked in it's OK I guess...
It only fits with the N.8 Classic knife (I've Asked Opinel). I got a N.8 Garden too it's one of my favorite Opinel ! BTW you'll need an other knife with that Kit.😉
Opinel's idea is ingenious, but a fork with its handle without the need to "limit" a knife, which would momentarily reduce the Opninel to a "fork handle". Your video, without intending to, is an apology for a "small fork", for that the ingenious idea of Opinel does not seem to me to be a commercial proposal. As a nice DIY proposal, yes.
Just brilliant the way the fork and spoon locks into the handle. No more plastic forks and spoons ever needed :)

i have feeling that you can connect the spoon and fork together via the hook on spoon and hole on fork...
A new twist on the "HOBO Knife " !!! As only Opinel could do it !!!

Seems to me that 2 knifes are needed lol more for my collection looks like an awesome idea.
Definitely doable. Nice space saver little kit

I wonder if it would work with my Opinel no 8 outdoors knife it has a thicker blade than a regular knife
Ensemble très sympa et original. Merci.
Do you still have these?
This is soooo awesome!

Hello , can’t find this on Amazon, do you know where I can ?
Does this ensemble come in any colors besides PINCnic? 😁
Superb indeed 🎉Wish I could find one in India.
Where do I purchase one?

A real survival kit 😃
Nice.Perfect i already have a #8😀
Very cool.

I bought it. Nice enough kit. Would prefer a pouch to that silly rag. The knife is very good. The spoon and fork attachments work OK.
silly rag can serve as a napkin
I prefer to use my Opinel in combination with a foldable titanium spork
Super!
Nice!
Love this but not as much as the potato peeler.
👍🏻

Use one that isn't beech wood. you can order them in oak and other woods
C sympa ,mais qd on mange on a souvent besoin du couteau et de la fourchette en même temps...🥴

The demo does show an ability to use them separately - I do have 5 or so Opinel knives. Enjoy them.
this is interesting
