The only problem i am facing to take this branch is that nuclear fusion might completely wipe out this branch ,also helion company will be running the first commercial nuclear fusion reactor in 2024 to provide energy to Microsoft,so theres a chance that the energy problem is close to being solved already🤔🤔
Please don't take it on other way. But I think you just have seen only one aspect of energy engineering. Let's say by 2024 they make nuclear fusion plant and that too is sustainable, still don't you think it would need improvements and a lot of more innovation can happen there, like say small scale nuclear fusion reactors etc etc. Secondly you know we gain energy from various different sources and not from a single source, don't you think there might be reasons why this happens? Like environmental effects, resource availability, sustainability etc. Look today we are at good stage in AI field, think what would happen to all those who want to make it their career is it going to be a bad decision or bad decision for them? And let's say there was no helion company and acc. to you, you would have taken energy branch then right? So tell me what is guarantee that after your graduation would be working in the field of energy only? Maybe you will find something else more interesting or challenging and you pursue that! Don't jump to conclusions when when you have absence of information or knowledge. Calmly think what is it that you want to pursue....
This is own suggestion not a universal truth, but I think you should ask yourself what you want , where your interest lies, now let's say you don't know where your interest lies, then neglect those branches where you won't ever go, then make a kind of rank list, now one more thing, I think it doesn't matter which branch you choose as long as you are in top iits, here there are enough opportunities for you to explore and then choose what to do next.
bhaiya koi bhi branch agr mil rahi ho like biotech civil , etc aur new iit mei electrical, aur jaane software companies mei hai to kya choose krna chiye , do all students gets to sit for all the companies in top 2 iit??
No all students don't get to sit for all companies, the gap broadens at intern season, for placement I think the gap decreases but still there is this gap. Now the best thing about top iits is exposure, you get lots of opportunities to make your career, it may not be in software industry but some other industry. I think I am not right person to suggest you take this or that, instead you decide yourself, and prove your decision right. Your success would be defined by you not by your rank, branch or any other attribute of that kind.
At this time you know we don't have data but from previous data I think it's very difficult....(for gen. ) Still I would refrain on making comments....

Look in iit delhi we have courses of study ( search on Google you will get it), I know you won't understand everything but go through it, find what they would teach in energy engineering. Similar exercise you do for electronics of iit bhu. Next talk to experienced persons from both fields as well both colleges if possible. Next write pros and cons of both on sheet of paper and take the decision. I want to mention also keep in mind alumni network of each college, transport etc. I mean if these things bother you, then take them into consideration as well. Look I am no one to decide what is good or bad for you. You decide by yourself, first decide the parameters that are important acc to you, then compare the colleges and then branch on the basis of parameters that matters to you. No matter which college or branch you choose, your success according to me would be defined by your own hardwork, patience and perseverance.
