People recommending hands should know that certain stiffer and longer foods especially steaks, asparagus etc need a knife. Using bare hands may cause spills, or will need extra strength.
Every eating manner differ from each other. We Indians eat with hands, Chinese Japanese and Korean people eat with chopsticks and Britishers and Americans use knife, fork and spoon. We should respect each others culture and should not comment rubbish. The people who are not interested to learn this things they shouldn't have opened the video.

@@masakkali499 how can you say that? I have been and seen ppl though start eating food with fork and knife they subconsciously end up eating foods (excluding noodles, chowmein ) with hands. Because we are Indians not Brit or Americans. 95 % India is filled with south and north restaurants. Restaurants with Lebanese, Chinese or other country are only available in metro cities. So I don't think ppl use fork or knife in their daily routine. So for me it was useless to learn this Brit way of having food. PS: Only giving my thoughts on this video. So no negativity of yours or any other commentors are required here.

I think giving repect to your food is missing in British style of dining etiquettes.... I follow my Indian style while dining in any 5 / 7 * restaurant.... You become what you eat, respect food as much as your self respect!

No one eats this way anymore. I have seen ppl eating with hands in big restaurants. This way of eating has vanished long back.
Well in that case you haven't even been to any big restaurants coz it is definitely not possible to eat noodles, pasta, pie, steak roast vegetables etc without any fork and spoon...
@@masakkali499 how can you say that? I have been and seen ppl though start eating food with fork and knife they subconsciously end up eating foods (excluding noodles, chowmein ) with hands. Because we are Indians not Brit or Americans.
95 % India is filled with south and north restaurants. Restaurants with Lebanese, Chinese or other country are only available in metro cities. So I don't think ppl use fork or knife in their daily routine. So for me it was useless to learn this Brit way of having food.

As an Indian many others would like to learn proper dining table etiquette and this video is meant for people like us who wants to learn how to use a knife and fork properly so that we don't embarrass ourselves by having to eat with hands any food that should be eaten only with a knife and fork..

What are the Indian dining etiquettes? We honor food to the extent that we bow little down towards our morsel when eat... I think giving repect to your food is missing in British style of dining etiquettes.... I follow my Indian style while dining in any 5 / 7 * restaurant.... You become what you eat, respect food as much as your self respect!
Exactly. Though I appreciate people who teach these. But honestly, there's no need to induce this style in India, in any type of restuarant. Why would we change our style of eating when in India? Is not our own style of eating "mannerful" that we need fork and knife to follow "table manners"
