I like how restrained you were with the weathering. Most people go over the top in my opinion. Your weathering looks like the pictures I've been looking at.
I really enjoyed this video, as with all your others. You have a clear, informative and captivating way of imparting what you have done to your viewers. As you say for £7 a wagon you have created something that looks so right whilst others would have consigned them to the bin in favour of new ones. It is easy to buy new, not so easy to be creative and produce something that is uniquely your own which you should be proud of. Looking forward to your future videos.
Thank you for your kind comments, they are much appreciated. I love improving old models and think that old Hornby and Lima products can look good if properly modified. I have a number of projects in the pipeline which will be videoed and uploaded here, regards Keith.
Just subbed, Great channel did a load of these wagons a few years ago, ( Hornby £5 a go) similar to yours WHATa different its made.. carry on the good work.
They look totally different when you chop off those big couplings. I filed down the bump in the buffer beams then added some smiths instanter couplings.
Agree totally with your comments about the couplings but I have first radius curves (corners?) on my layout so I think I will stick with them for the time being...but one day when I have nothing better to do....who knows? Regards Keith

Cheers Andy, I am still not completely relaxed using the airbrush but I must say I'm rather pleased with the result, Keith
