He was targeted by goverment. Told to shut up or pay for speaking. Hes on a list like many others that are to verbal. He didnt stop to study and write a book thats a lie and a cover up of what really happend come on people use your head. He says clearly he was going to make another album the. Suddenly a facebook status says hes walking away to do him. THINK! Lowkey is a genious BRING BACK LOWKEY!
***** sadly he will never come back due to the fact of his life be threatened by the elite. He is dangerous to their plan of world domination. He opens the minds of the people to what is really going onm they cant have that. Just like Tupac and many others before him.. they will ailence those who oppose.
***** pac I think was a little different no matter what was said in the press pac would still be huge he was the one rapper that no matter what the media said he would never fade. For me personally I think he was killed because basically the whole of America followed him like I think the people would of listened to pac than the government and plus he had money and the power of the people to back his plans up, pac would've ruled the people and in theory American. He was coming off deathrow to make his own label so no more interscope, he would've had his own label that wasnt apart of the machine so he would've had the power to make big rappers like himself
First time hearing this dude was Obamanation song. Good shit. Good to see people awake in Hip Hop. We need to keep growing our own network of people who want knowledge and truth. Instead of changing their world we need to keep creating our own world we control. People like this give me hope that will happen. The ruling power only has the power we allow them to.
If you check out the Akala interview, he actually talks about this and how a song in itself can't really change anything. You should check it out. Peace
+Casey Jones you don't need to be ashamed to be American. Just because American powers are corrupt doesn't mean that you guys should take the blame for it Peace from Manchester!
Yes the autobiography of Malcolm X is my favorite book. It also enlightens you to how much self-realization matters to an individual in order to change them for the better.
Lowkey is a good man, not a (bad man), that's little mind set change. He stands for the truth and righteousness I love that. Lowkey you are amazing, peace and love you and your family. Gifted individual, and were all gifted but some choose to use and utilize their gift/s most don't 1
Lowkey understands individualism vs collectivism very well and that is encouraging to see. I wish he would have researched Ron Paul here and gave his possible support. Lowkey understands what the New World Order is about as well. Last I heard he is going to college and is done with music for now. He doesn't want a huge spotlight on him and God knows how much fear over his welbeing and safety he feels at times. Lowkey is going low key.
hey revolutionhive, large up, love what youve been doing can you give me a contact address for you guys because id like to use some of this interview on a skit for my mixtape. thank you
Though the comments might suggest it, I very much doubt that. There's some grime talents out there who are passionate about doing their thing which, yes, is totally anti-system, but I wouldn't consider that cashing in, I would see it as the opposite. Anything's better than MTV. He's fucking talented man and his message is strong.
No I mean Large up. We, the black community, are the ones who make up these terms such as large up, and big up. No one dictates to us how we should say it.
He is handsome, smart and talented. I believe that he is right about how the world is. I am ashamed to be an American. We commit crimes against so many countries and try to act like were heros. Stealing land is wrong. What is so hard to understand? And yet its like history repeating itself. What a shame.
Try to think of music as a medium that's raising awareness, and because of that new level of awareness, people will be inspired to achieve change in the system. That is the way it works. I don't think many artists expect a revolution based on a couple of good songs otherwise it would've happened a long time ago, not to mention they'd be considered very arrogant.
no lowkey helps people understand the issues we are facing as a race, if you can't appreciate his message then move on because negativity isn't getting you anywhere
This guy asked, What's next for Lowkey in 2012? And Lowkey said another album. If that is true then why has he decided to study instead? I don't understand. And it is really suspicious.
I can clear this up for you. We spoke to Lowkey recently, he's very happy studying and is enjoying a different means of understanding and challenging power. At the time we did this interview, he did intend on another album but of course, he was interested in studying too and made the choice to do that. It's not anything suspicious, rather he feels passionately about academic education for the moment. Hope this helps - Keshav
I agree but there both pullin in the same direction.. I was watchin an IT interview were he was quoting James Joyce while he was in Belfast i was happy being Irish an him quoting one of our hero's
I just watched a video where lowkey said that he was arrested and the things associated with that was why he stopped making music for a while, but I'm pretty sure the government is still fucking with him.
I don't care how much progress people make, I care about the efforts they put into it. This world needs to change, and the only people in the way are the people who not only don't try for themselves, but actually criticize others who are *trying*. If you don't wanna boycott Israel or speak the truth, or create artwork that counters the mainstream or write text that challenges the Imperial powers, at least have the courtesy to shut up and let others TRY.
Here is the sources; Pappe,Itan. "The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine" (Oxford,2003). Amnesty Internation Annual Report (years 2000-2007). Hass,Amira. "Drinking the Waters at Gaza" (1996).
more than what you're doing mate. when lowkey dies, he'll die knowing he did his part. when you die, you're gonna feel empty, cold and miserable like 90% of this god-forsaken planet. being a part of the majority isn't always a good thing
at least they are doing something, taking action and spending their lives fighting for the sake of humanity which is not a common thing amongst people of the 21st century, maybe making music is not the most effective way but what me and you have done?
Patiently waiting for lowkey to drop a 2000 bar freestyle killing everything ever created. One can dream😂😂
this video is sick. nice editing and the questions were good too
YES! give us an update on lowkey please!

Andrew MC He is at university and is bringing out a new album. If the establishment was involved, from what I've heard, they weren't that direct.

can you give me a contact address for you guys because id like to use some of this interview on a skit for my mixtape. thank you
Omg im reading economic hitman too!! It's pretty good so far
immortal technique is more "street" in talking than lowkey, so I think that's the main reason as to why people like tech's interviews more
Looking Forwade to hearing the some more lowkey ........
Though the comments might suggest it, I very much doubt that. I don't get it, Lowkey took a rest from music to go his studies which he had said but on this vid it said the new 2012 album. Anyone help with this?
He is handsome, smart and talented. I believe that he is right about how the world is. I am ashamed to be an American. We commit crimes against so many countries and try to act like were heros. Stealing land is wrong. What is so hard to understand? And yet its like history repeating itself. What a shame.

This guy asked, What's next for Lowkey in 2012? And Lowkey said another album. If that is true then why has he decided to study instead? I don't understand. And it is really suspicious.
u thinking he's not really studying and working on an album?
I just thought he vanished and something happened to him. But I know he is alright.
I can clear this up for you. We spoke to Lowkey recently, he's very happy studying and is enjoying a different means of understanding and challenging power. Revolution Hive did he say whether hes coming back anytime soon?
Doesn't look like it at the moment. We asked for another interview but his focus is to study at the moment and write a book.

I just watched a video where lowkey said that he was arrested and the things associated with that was why he stopped making music for a while, but I'm pretty sure the government is still fucking with him.
Also ask about his feelings on what happened to Norman Finkelstien.
hes in study ppl he'll be back he said it

at least they are doing something, taking action and spending their lives fighting for the sake of humanity which is not a common thing amongst people of the 21st century, maybe making music is not the most effective way but what me and you have done?
found it, bill hicks
Government basically left Lowkey with no choice but to stop music or go prison or worse...
