    Billie Holiday was a beautiful woman, with a raw sweet voice., but sometimes haunting make you cry.

    The best line about music I think I've ever heard, comedic or not. 😂

      How long did you think before you wrote that? 2 seconds? Lamenting the state of music today (a favourite pastime of many on youtube) and positing innane, illogical conclusions does not make you look smart. More like the opposite.

    West Africa did not create this music! It was created here in the US!

    • @sryder8312

      Was created in Africa

    • @Nocturnal11Guy
      @Nocturnal11Guy Год назад

      @@sryder8312the of jazz is the blues. The blues is from work songs and songs from honky tonks and saloons. It did come from west Africa because many aboriginals knew nothing about any parts of the continent of Africa at that particular time. Many so-called slaves were brought here from the Caribbeans South and Central America.

      If i may just ask, what's wrong with the dialogue at the end?

    • @Ruhelin
      @Ruhelin 7 лет назад +1

      One of the problems is that the woman is interested and asks a question to gain knowledge of the music and the man almost answers, but then tells her that she's going home, the implication being that a woman must be drunk or otherwise unruly/out of her mind to want something as manly as information.
      Also the fact that jazz is something felt rather than what he says, but I always feel a pang of discomfort when he tells her that she's going home. Sadly still know a lot of men who are dismissive of, or intimidated by, intelligent and curious women!
