Yak 3 flight at Omaka in New Zealand.

This was filmed with a camera mounted on the side of my helmet, planned to keep my head still for best effect but had too much fun to keep still but gives you an idea as to what it is like to fly in the amazing Yak 3 Fighter.

I just found this clip and am having a déjà vu moment, here. I got my own ride in May 2019 and it was the hottest hot rod that I ever rode in. Graeme was away at the time, so my pilot was Ryan Southam. The noise level in this video is exactly right - sitting about two metres behind a 1200 horsepower V12 is not like anything you have ever heard before. And the noise never stops - which is a very good thing...
