i held my breath as you were removing the hgw decals from the large surfaces, surprisingly they seem to go down very well. big huge kudos, it's a lovely build. :)
Beautiful work mate! Very inspiring. Keep up the great work. I recently bought eduards bf109F4/bf109G2 “Afrika” combo and you have inspired me to get started on them now!
A beautiful job once again!! I have this kit in the stash I might just have to break it out and start it!! Interesting work with the HGW dry transfers this is the first time I have seen them used!! A great build keep them coming!! All the best!!
Beautiful build. I have this kit and the HGW Barr decals ready to go. Just one question, how did you make the small aerodynamic cone shaped insulator caps for the antenna wire? I often notice these when I review real warbirds at the museum, but I don't know how you would do it. Is it a tapered stretch Q-tip shaft (hollow inside)? It would be good if you show how it's done on your next video of a World War Two prop subject. Thanks for passing on so much knowledge and technique!
Very nice work, congratulations! But I'm curious about something... the uper wing bulges didn't apear until G3/G4 models, because of the increase in the size of the main wheels. Thus, the bulges were added to accomodate the increased main wheel tire size. Anyway, you job is outstanding!
Very very very nice..you are an artist...one question if I may...I am totally new to the airbrush and I am enjoying it very much, however I have lots to learn and am wondering why so many coats of paint? you painted what I thought would be the final color (the blue gray) which looked awesome then you painted it with the h 66 rlm79? ...This is not a criticism its questions from a noob..lol please help me out!
Hi , you should always beginn paint your model ( if it possible) with the lightest Color and end with the darkest color, for example if you have an model which have 3 Colored Camo ( Yellow , Light green and Dark Brown) you beginn with Yellow then Light green and end with Brown. As you can see i am not prefect so i had to repaint my wingroot area because i forgot to mask it ... So every mistake you made make your next project better.
@@Headmod Thank You very much for answering my questions, I watched your video again and probably will watch it again too. The music is so relaxing it almost put me to sleep...lol...WELL DONE, I LOVE IT!
It looks phenomenal, and I love the scheme. I have one question, when you airbrush 1 drop of paint with 1.5 ml of alcohol, what air pressure do you use? Thanks for the reply in advance and keep posting these excellent videos.
I dont think that Hakenkreuze are allowed but I think you are a true German so you have the right to show em!!! I hope one day your Models will be used in an Michael Bay Movie!!!
Superb job and great video! These HGW transfer look very interesting, so you used standard under/over decal liquids and let them settle for several hours, right? Were they setting into crevices well or you had to reapply liquids for several times?
They go extremly well into curves and crevices, i applied Mark Softer to model Surface and then on on top of the decal , you can use a piece of cloth or Cotton bud to bring them into crevices and curves
@@Headmod Thank you for answer . I will definitely consider them in future as the outcome is much better than regular decals (and easier to achieve than using masks :) ).
well there is simply only one word for this ..... and i think we all know what that is .................STUNNING !!!!!
Excellent Job on that Beauty Me-109G2 Trop.!!

Your decal camouflage turned out very nicely. I do think it was worth the effort to apply those. Great looking on that aircraft color.

Can you tell me where I can buy the stand where you hold the plane while you paint it?
Thank you.
The model Stand is Vertigo Jig from : www.vertigo-miniatures.com/vertigo/eshop/15-1-VERTIGO-JIGS
Headmod THX!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻
Headmod:
I bought one stand last week.
Thank you for your information and see you soon in your chanel.
Bye 👍🏻
What kind of Airbrush you are using, and how much pressure?
Hi , for the general work i use Iwata Revolution CR with 0,5 mm , for fine work i use Iwata Custom Micron B with 0,18 mm , pressure about 15-20 psi
To appreciate the finer detail, closer in with the camera lens would have nice, otherwise a good relaxing video.

Moving way too fast, focus issues, not magnified enough, am motion sick... no more.
Apology. Your finished work is exquisite.
