      Thanks! And yeah but we only do big projects anymore with sales letters, funnels, cold email, content etc. when good projects come up.
      So profits are great but bit different than the cold email only that I started with.

    Can you create a video about the software you use for client management, CRM, and portal? Also, do you think using Google Workspace for a custom domain email is worth it, or is using Skiff with a custom email better?

    what do you guys think. On landing page having a welcome video the c.t.a take you too the vsl when you put your info or is that too much friction? Just having the vsl on the landing page and the c.t.a for scheduling a call

    • @leevieerola
      @leevieerola  6 месяцев назад +1

      It's for sure a great idea if you have a lot of traffic but in most cases I'd just run straight VSL on the LP.
      No point to complicate it.

    My business supplies furnitures to distributors/retailers overseas, very confused how my VSL would look like. Can anyone help give feedback to my ideas below?
    1. A tour of my factory (explaining the process as well as current projects)
    2. A case study of past shipments
    3 . Im out of ideas, litterally
    *with service based businesses it is way more intuitive. B2B products (manufacturing) how would we do it ? Ecom is a product but slightly easier because we're talking to B2C customers. Especially with furnitures, i am basically their muscle guy pumping out their designs

      I think using a case study is a very good idea, you should do it no matter what you choose to have on your VSL, no need to go super in depth but you can tell a quick story,
      I'm a Copywriter myself and let me tell you, stories SELL.
      If you're down to it I can give your VSL a look and give some Copywriting feedback to make it better.

    brother, Does VSL work without showing face?

    • @leevieerola
      @leevieerola  4 месяца назад +1

      Why would you not show face? If you are planning to run a business, you'll have to do it at somepoint anyways.
      It can for sure work but imo it's better to get your face out there to start building deeper level of trust.

    Using someone else's case study is super deceptive. I'm all for the hustle but if you haven't actually delivered results using the channel, you're VERY unlikely to get the same or similar results. Just because someone else used cold email successfully doesn't mean anything for how effectively you can help others use it. Therefore using the case study to convince customers to hire you is flat out unethical.

    • @leevieerola
      @leevieerola  8 месяцев назад +7

      I wish you had listened to what I said on the video 😂 on the proof section you are proving two (2) things:
      1. You delivered results
      2. The mechanism works (cold email)
      So if you haven't delivered results yet since you are just starting out, it's still a great idea to prove that the mechanism generally works.
      I specifically said that you should not steal someones case studies or frame them as your own.
      A for effor though! 😂

      Consultant here, expertise in Lead Gen, RevOps, BizDev/sales, worked with Fortune 500 co’s and as an executive for multimillion dollar lead/Demand Gen agencies. I’m curious as to what your client retention rate is and what your LGA “Students turned LGA owners” retention rate is for their businesses?
      You are a smart guy, have a much cooler accent than I do (Texas), but “Predictable Revenue” as authored by Aaron Ross (The pioneer of cadenced cold outbound) is hardly attainable these days….Especially in Cyber Security, but it was an example, I get it, lol.
      All the DMs, including myself, have been marketed too for years via every channel. Once you say Hello, our brains know if it’s a sales call. I’m assuming that you are being extremely generic on purpose here.
      To generate leads/qualified opportunities with companies with minimum available spend at $12k per quarter and the ability to sign and pay for 2-6 months in advance, you will see better results if you focus your efforts on a small number of targets and work them for 30 days. Contrary to all the timid sales people or risk averse business owners, you can pester your targets tactfully and should.
      RUclips video email messaging and scarcity/urgency will fail. Relationship building is more important than ever. Setting, but first understanding, what expectations to set, is imperative, and Having the experience and knowledge/skills to fix the problems that YOU WILL FACE on EVERY campaign, is also critical to keeping your clients. Don’t over promise and under deliver.
      OK, so you get your first small client. They don’t close business in 90 days, and you told them they would, what do you tell them? How do you handle their frustration that is growing by the week? you have to understand how to navigate that, because if you promise your clients new business in 30,60, 90 days, then you better know every conversion rate for every lead channel they have used, because a sales cycle of 180 days and a promise of 30-90, is going to cause you to question everything, get you in trouble, and maybe go back to work.
      2023 requires business outcome questions. You may close inexperienced people or new LGA owners with scarcity and urgency, but the C level of a 50MM company will not even read the email or watch the video (or listen if your lucky enough to get him on the phone).
      Your goal should be retain your clients. If you are not keeping them, you are failing.
      Know your audience and the outcomes that they have already achieved, or should be working to achieve. Be different, don’t put your prospects on a pedestal, and when talking to them, they should feel as if you do not need them at all, you care , and rather, they need you.

      @@leevieerola I get it, I just don't think it's good advice to give. This is why companies are so distrusting of legit marketing agencies. It's deceptive to associate your ability to deliver results with some unrelated success. Which is what you're saying to do no matter how you spin it.
      The rest of this video is superb though. Thanks for sharing.
