- Now with the correct "owl" noise! It's a technique called a "moose call" created by rubbing your finger across a tumbadora head. I used the very first sound from this video:

I have listened to the original version of this theme practically to death- to the point where I could barely stand to hear it any more- but you have managed to make me retrieve some of the original feelings, and experience something of what I adored so much about this piece!

Takes me back in so many ways, it's unbelievable. The ambient noises adds a nice depth to the song, as if I were truly roaming through Guardia Forest. Very nicely done rendition of the song! That tension filled part in the middle is what does it for me. Such lovely dissonance

Indescribably perfect. I imagine a person facing a forest at distance, focusing as if attempting to measure the secrets it holds. The forest could be dangerous, rewarding, exciting, boring, or anything as is life. It is completely worth the risk to eventually go and see for yourself.
The rain really adds a nice effect to the whole piece.

The water sounds really add a depth/three dimensionality to the sound.

Le choix des instruments est très bien fait. On reste absolument dans l'ambiance du jeu original, mais tu la sublime d'une manière assez particulière, comme si on s'enfonçait progressivement dans cette forêt majestueuse gigantesque et inexplorée !

Do you think you could possibly post a version for download without the wind sounds in it? It sounds a bit more like feedback type static than actual wind.
Aside from that I think it all sounds very awesome and I love it.
Getting wind to sound the way it does in our ears can be difficult since mics don't capture sound the same way our ears do.

The coolest part of the original song to me was the bass, and the delay of the last note on the part that is normally a triplet. Unfortunate they missed that part of the rhythm on this recording
