Wow man incredible museum! Really interesting stuff there and the vehicles included where insane!! The only WW2 Soviet tank I've seen up close was an IS-2 in the polish war museum which was closed at the time but the tank was very close to the entrance. The Estonian war museum is definitely getting on my list for museums to visit abroad!
Wow IS-2 is one of favorite soviet tanks, real cool. And yes it was lot fun to check out. Mannequins in various military uniforms with weapons, vehicles and artillery definitely brought it all to life. One thing building this in lego another is to see it in person. Definitely a great overall experience and would for sure recommend to visit this museum in case you are ever in Tallinn, Estonia. I also really enjoyed Maritime museum that has a real submarine that you could climb inside. If I visit it again I ll make sure to take some footage there as well. Thanks for watching and commenting John:)
Between 04.45 - until 6.15 expo is about estonian defence force 1920-1940 and from 1991. onwards.. NCO who is getting a light for a cigarette is wearing Estonian M1936 pattern uniform. PAK 36 was also used by EDF between 1936-1940, Estonia bought 44 - PAK 36 L50 version
Cool video! It's good to differentiate what you add to your channel, videos like this one are a welcome addition. :) I'll have to go there when I visit Estonia!
Thanks man. I am glad to hear that this type of content is still interesting to some people on the channel, in addition to Lego stuff. I have some more plans to go to maritime museum that has real estonian submarine parked in. Always welcome to come to Estonia. If you ever make it to Tallinn just let me know.
@@Rula2020 I am very glad that your ancestors never gave up and that Estonia is now an independent nation again. Estonia or as the rest of NATO calls it - First Line of Defense. Just kidding, but unfortunately the geopolitical situation leaves little room for humor these days...
well maybe we ll talk some other day about my ancestry:) but yes agreed 💯 And hey NATO is just being realistic here, but still super happy that there is someone to back us up in case things go south or should I say west.
This one was sure a lot of fun to check out especially with all weapon displays and vehicles. It was interesting for me to learn after that many vehicles displayed were donated by Finland 🇫🇮, my favorite being Stug 3 and ZSU, so big thanks for that.
Great video. If I ever go to visit Estonia I can already tell that I'll need to set aside an entire day to spend going through that museum. Their weapons collection is fantastic . I was glad the other gentlemen who were visiting the museum were having a conversation in English so I could understand it. They were actually discussing some pretty interesting things. I enjoyed listening in. 👍😀
Thanks :) glad to hear you have enjoyed this museum walkthrough and our conversation 😀 I would definitely recommend visiting this museum and spending more time exploring as went through everything fairly quickly. I would also highly recommend Estonian Maritime Museum as it has a real submarine which can be climbed inside and many more nautica themed items & ships. Definitely one of my favorites. Always welcome to visit Estonia anytime:)
tere, tere, good esto poster!...I haven't been to that museum but have seen the kgb and the big airport museums when I have been visiting family...on go and well be, good estipoika!
Tere 👋 Those are great museums choices to visit. But I recommend for sure to still go to Estonian War Museum and Maritime museum as Maritime one has a real submarine you could climb inside. Those two are my favorites. Welcome back to Estonia any time!
I am glad to hear that you found this video somewhat interesting. And as someone else commented on this video they have learned one things about Estonian history - that its complicated. And always welcome to visit Estonia and see things for yourself. We have a beautiful historical old town in Tallinn and many more cool things to see!
thanks buddy. i used to study english from childhood as many in Europe and lived abroad for many years as well. I m sure you ll get good at italian soon. I tried learning french, but no big progress there so dont feel too bad :) And its the best when you surround yourself in the culture and language, something might not be always easy to do
I wish my German friend would have paid attention in English class so I could actually speak to her. But yeah I'm quite amazed that a lot of foreigners speak English better than people in English-speaking countries. I'm American and you're all welcome for the equipment.

Thanks Hooky, apparently I took a lot footage of the museum so a bit a long video here, but it was a quite interesting to see everything in person, not just in lego form :D Unfortunately I will be skipping on bkm Jagdpanther and Hungarian Tiger 1 although those are beautiful kits. @@Rula2020 The Hungarian Tiger 1 is an odd one! On the one hand this kit comes very close to the Tiger 1 of my dreams and then again the Hungarian side of things makes it kind of special interest. I'm kind of hoping that BKM does a Michael Wittmann Tiger 1 tank at some point in the future. I mean, they did several versions of their Panzer IV, maybe they will do it with the Tiger 1 also.
