I just purchased the 2% BHA liquid. Can I wear it in the morning after washing my face and before I put my sunscreen and make up on? Is it safe to wear it on all day or do I remove it after a few minutes? I keep it on at night and then put my moisturiser on. Cheers
Hey! Yes, you can use it both in the day and night if your skin can tolerate it! It's a leave-on exfoliant so after you apply it, just go to the next step in your routine. It's not meant to be washed off :)
It has nothing to do with age, she has very oily skin and has probably been using retinol for years. 1% is really high compared to some of her other products.
I thought Paula was against eye creams? And where is the hydration cream after all these AHA/BHAS on the face?! I would get extra itchy, dry and irritate if I didn’t pile on hydration after my retinol, lactic, azelaic, salicylic, glycolic, mandelic uses (I use everything in low dose - morning and night routines are different- retinol always at night) 2 sunscreens a MUST.
I would never be able to use an active such as bha9 with retinol on top. It would irritate me and cause havoc on my skin. I've always been advised to alternate days or either AHA/BHA during day and retinol at night
There are a few options: 1.Use the 1% Retinol Booster alone 2.Mix the 1% Retinol Booster in with your moisturizer 3.Layer a moisturizer after the 1% Retinol Booster The booster can actually be a 'moisturizer' by itself because it's packed with other antioxidants, but Retinol does have the tendency to dry out the skin, so if that happens, we would recommend using it with a moisturizer :) Hope that answers your question!
Hey paula I used to fuck with your skincare products hard a few years ago. Ever since my partying, drinking, and smoking my skin has started to become shit so I'll be needing your help.
Febyniel Casingal I’m not an expert but yes, I believe so. You can’t use retinol while pregnant and breastfeeding. Double check your products, PC has a lot of products with a very low amount of retinol
The 1% Retinol Booster acts as a moisturizer. A moisturizer's function is to basically replenish lost nutrients in the skin and give it the right ingredients to repair its barrier - our retinol booster can do exactly that :)
My love affair with this brand is totally over, as of this year. Unilever did absolutely nothing to stick to the values of this brand; they hiked prices, they changed way too many formulas and introduced a bunch of average products all in the space of one year. The reformulation of the CALM line was the absolute last straw for me. I was so deflated and annoyed by it that I didn't even bother returning it because I just didn't want any more interaction with the brand. Also, the skincare talks by their resident skin geeks have become fewer and further between. It was amazing while it lasted and Paula you are missed x
Huge Bias of her products their not even that great and very pricy, she looks like she could be in her middle 60's she doesn't look young at all!!!! honestly, now that I think about it, there are Asian actors who are her age and look half of that age!!! thanks to Korean/other Asian brand products. which I totally recommend!!!!
She’s truly living the dreaming. From reviewing products to starting her own skincare company, I admire her and love her fairly priced products.
Me too, she deserve it
my goodness she is such a delightful human being
Paula we love you ! Please show us your everyday makeup routine!! Grazie, Giada 😘😘🤗🤗
such a beautiful and amazing woman, I hope more people will find this channel.
your hair looks so good!
Hi Paula, can I add your 10% Niacinamide to this skin care routine? I love your Niacinamide so much. It makes my skin radiant. Thanks!
Could you do your morning routine?

Perfect, thank you Paula for your prompt response! I'll use it sparingly for now and see if I can build up on it :)
Love this video!
Niacinamide booster?? I thought you used that, rather than the retinol...💋
She is asking now too. Lol
You use bha and retinol on the same night. That would eat up my skin. I love the 2 percent bha liquid but I can only use it maybe 2 days in a row.
She's 65 I think thats why
Lili Lili she’s 65?? I’m pretty new to Paula’s choice and this is the first time i see her. She looks much younger tho 😮

Paula what can I use for pore minimizer?
I would never be able to use an active such as bha9 with retinol on top. It would irritate me and cause havoc on my skin. I've always been advised to alternate days or either AHA/BHA during day and retinol at night
So need to top off with moisturizer over retinol1%??

You're so damn beautiful, I love you XOXO

Is the BHA safe to use while pregnant and breastfeeding?

Yes it is for concentrations of 2% and lower! You can read our article on skincare and pregnancy/breastfeeding here: goo.gl/4Z7Wcn
Paula's Choice Singapore Ok great, so AHA is also ok in pregnancy? And in what %/ concentration? Thank you
AHA's are okay, no restrictions :)
I wish u would do a balm in a stick. You are the hygiene Queen, re jar packaging!!! I need a stick!
Wouldn't the stick be just as unhygenic?
They tried it and did not work for some reason
She seems so inlove with Salicylic acid.
Paula ..i cannot find your product in dubai
I thought Paula said she can't use retinol..?
That is true. Paula mentioned she can't tolerate retinol.
ruclips.net/video/U-m_1rNNkzQ/видео.html
She can't use prescription this is retinod a different compound and over the counter retinol
This is not accurate! Paula is actually allergic to retinol so there's no way she could use 1% pure retinol that's contained in the Retinol Booster! 🤨
I've heard her talk about how she uses it once a week. That's what her skin can tolerate. She does use it.
Did u see my comment re Dr Dray video, in what I think is PC most recent video 👌
She doesnt use moisturizer?

No moisturizer After all that exfoliating?
I read in her book that she had acne and that translates to oily skin so maybe that's why
i dont use moisturizer too. and i follow her routine. not all skin type will tolerate it tho. start gradually
Reduce the price of your products please 🙏
Paula cannot use retinol.
That's what I was thinking, she has said many times that she's allergic to it!
I love you mam I fan

Unliver did not change the formulas, the PC Team does all formulations.
Paula once said she was sensitive to retinol. Such a contradictory woman!
To prescription yes....this is not prescription it's a slightly different compound
She must have botox in her forehead
Huge Bias of her products their not even that great and very pricy, she looks like she could be in her middle 60's she doesn't look young at all!!!! honestly, now that I think about it, there are Asian actors who are her age and look half of that age!!! thanks to Korean/other Asian brand products. which I totally recommend!!!!
RUDE!!
she doesn't use a moistuizer?
