She had fillers and facelifts. Also, sun exposure is shown to decrease all-cause mortality. I wouldn't shun it altogether. We spend more time indoors than ever after all.
I bought Paula's books. In fact her last book, birthday present from her company I have used her products from day one In fact I received printed and later via computer In fact she had free newsletter too Fyi I saved all of them Thanks again Paula!!
So good to see you , you kinda’ have not been really active! Misses you. I suffer from eczema. Flaky and desert dry skin. I live in Dubai, the weather is extreme HOT and HUMID. AM 53 years young. Any advices ?! Thank you very much.
I've struggled with eczema since I was a baby. Body lotions with colloidal oatmeal can be really helpful in soothing the skin. I would look into aveeno for that, but also check out cerave moisturizers.
I’ve read a lot, recently, about not mixing certain ingredients on the skin: vitamin c and niacinamide, retinol and bha et cetera. Is there any truth in this?
Thankfully, no. Makes things less complicated. This advice does apply to some ingredients e.g. tretinoin (not microsphere gel) and benzoyl peroxide) but most can be used together with no problem.
You should look up Dr Dray’s explanation on why fragrance has no purpose in skin care. Essential oils degrade, like anything natural, and can increase photosensitivity of the skin. They are highly irritating
not a huge fan!!! her products are great but they only work for a limited time she can definitely look younger at least 20 years younger than her actual age but she doesn't!!! I was noticing how other Korean actors look 25 years younger than there actual age. so many that are 58-62 look like they've never aged they are looking like there 30ish. Korean skincare products are the best. I honestly see huge differences I started at the age of 15 and I am now 20 looking still 15stillllllll believe it or not! It is AMAZING!!!!!!! pls take a look more into it!!! into the Korean cosmetic. you wont regret it
I’ve been using high end products that don’t help my skin that much. So I’m looking to buy some Korean skincare products. Do you have any recommendations on which brands/ products to buy?
Although I truly appreciate Paula and have followed her advice and products for years, I’ve taken the time to review most Beautypedia reviews and their take on some ingredients and have noticed a pervasive amount of misinterpreted information from studies (most made on a petri dish and with cultured cells). Some “logics” like cleansers’ ingredients being rinsed off and down the drain are conflicting to what you find in their product lines (why put Salicylic Acid on their Clear cleanser if it will be washed away? Or antioxidants in their other cleansers?). And don’t get me started on intelligently using essential oils and the ridiculous claims about Lavender oil, or the use of alcohol in well-made formulas. All in all I still recommend some products from their line but there’s a lot of misinformation being shared.
Spending money on high priced products is NOT the answer..there are great products that are cheaper that does just as good as these over priced skin care products.
RE: Dr. Dray...Are people blind? How is she so popular? She totally creeps me out...she is a severe anorexic that is still holding on to her mother's apron strings--she is so disturbed!.
Paula Begoun is not a dermatologist, I'm not sure why she's answering these kind of questions. A board certified dermatologist would give a better and credible advise.
She did her research for years, that's where her research is from. She even explained that dermatologist studied the diseases on the skin but not what she researched about like all the good stuff.
One of the most educated and honest women in cosmetics!
And helpful!
Paula taught me everything I know about skincare. Her products and knowledge are amazing

Biggest flex
did you always apply it once a day or more often?
@@petereliassen9698 Once per day, giant blob in the morning , but when I mowed grass for living, I reapplied throughout the day😎
She had fillers and facelifts. Also, sun exposure is shown to decrease all-cause mortality. I wouldn't shun it altogether. We spend more time indoors than ever after all.

Can I, should I, use my BHA 2x a day? I use the 2% in the morning and the 4% every night.
