I have loved watching basketball for years and until the last month it has been the NBA as the WNBA wasn’t as exciting until recently. Watching the increased speed, the level of new skill is amazing and watching the existing players up their game is so exciting. I pray that the ones who are acting jealous and petty need to shut up and show people how skilled they really are! I would absolutely love to see Cheryl Miller come in and either coach or assist coach the Fever. I love her demeanour, her positivity and she has such a great sense of honour to the game that I think she would bring so much experience and positive input for the players.
Christie Sides wouldn't like that because she would then know at the end of this season she would be gone. Then again that is what needs to happen anyway. Sides is the wrong coach for these young ladies who are much faster than the WNBA of the past, the All Stars showed that tonight by defeating the Olympic team hands down and without question. The simple reason is the WNBA players played an up tempo style and the old hens couldn't keep up.

@@tomdalton4016 Absolutely! But you see, life can be so unfair sometimes. she was so far ahead of the times, that her talent and accomplishments went under-rewarded..and yes, I am talking in terms of money, name-recognition, accolades, all the metrics by which we measure professional athletes.
So what accolade are you referring to? If an accolade was around during her time I'm pretty sure she got it.

How wonderful and honest for her to recognize and appreciate how much the game and the players have evolved from her days as coach. She is so open to learn from her players as well as for them to benefit from her coaching and playing experience. Caitlin didn't get snubbed by being omitted from the Olympic team. She didn't "deserve" to be on the team. However, Caitlin NEEDED to be on that team for the W(WE)NBA's sake. Caitlin didn't need to be on the Olympic team but the Olympic needed Caitlin and the eyeballs that she would've brought to the team.
Caitlin had a bad shooting night but was still the catalyst in the win because of the coverage she drew and her assists.
I hope the women’s Olympic does not get the gold medal because of Cheryl Reeve. Reeve is too petty and immature.

The women's Olympic team has won 7 gold medals in a row and I could "give 2 shits" about that. How about 1 shit? Nope, not even 1 shit about the 7 straight gold medals. I've watched women's soccer in the Olympics and nothing else on the women's side in the past. I would've been glued to the TV and also taped the games if Caitlin was on the Olympic team.

They were uncoached for sure... she likely knew they'd be un-coachable in this game. They played streetball... tons, and tons of ISO... ugly to watch.

It's called arthritis. People develop it through constant use as they get older. What I marveled at inher deminer as she spoke was her wisdom.
The All-Star WNBA team selection was amazing. The balance (Talented new players and the veteran players) had this top of the chart chemistry. There was an ease that showcased the fundamentals of offensive and defensive game. It didn’t feel as though they were just trying to out shine star players. It felt as a real team whom have been playing together for years. They weren’t playing together as individuals stars. I can only suspect Coach Cheryl Miller had everything to do it.
I really think the Olympics representatives should scrap everything, along with the coach and start from scratch. Team USA included players past their prime, there’s no cohesiveness, no chemistry, and a toxicity that should be dealt with.
Teamwork. FEVER. Hire this lady now
