Lufalan is fantastic uber, he can just be a bit difficult to utilize. Looking back, a lot of his single-target hits went to a kroxo or mistress celeboodle instead of the SMS. Using wavers to clear those peons would've greatly increased Lufalan's effectiveness. You should use him in non-metal stages too btw, he acts kind of like a ranged balrog, which is very nice for UL. also good job not making a "wood" joke when you saw the subchapter's name lol
Shishilan seems shit with 3k DPS but remember that he get attack buff +200% at 99% health. Which means that as soon as he get knock back, he will deal 9k DPS with 150k damage per hit!
First off, I need that Luga family picture on a shirt! Now to the meat of my comments. I love the Lugas. The overall banner concept, character designs, and how each unit moves shows great imagination from PONOS. That being said, the translation into useful units missed the boat A LOT. Personally, I barely use them, as better options are out there. But that's just me. I at least hope you had fun doing the video, and can't wait for your next upload!

Hey Chawesy! Lufalan is situationally amazing. I recommend using him on stages with few strong enemies on them, as he has single target but huge DPS. I wouldn't recommend ever using him as your sole metal attacker - his crit ability is more of a bonus than something to be relied upon.
It’s good to be back cheese boy. I stoped watching and caring about battle cats because l was salty I lost about a year and half of progress like 2 months ago, but now I’m ready to get back into the game and get back to where I was. Honestly just happy I didn’t lose my legend rare but very angry I need beat itf chapter 3 again.

Explanations for the luga family (if you disagree on something please reply with respect, also this is a very long comment so if you're not interested don't read it) : -luffy:a superbackliner nucker and the best luga in my opinion based on late game meta. He's the infamous boss killer that deals a insane amount of 15k dps with 720 range and without even counting his crit, his main flaws are single attack( can be fixed with aoe or wave) ,bad survivability (only one kb and low health)and extremely long cd(around 5 min). You have to build your team around his weaknesses, but if done correctly he is insane. -shishi:a really well known generalist with good range, stupidity op survivability, amazing dps after strengthen and wave immune. Shishi is a generalist and an anti wave with an incredible 9k dps after strengthen and stupid survivability with 100 kbs. His main drawbacks are the need to be strengthen, even tho he has 100 kbs it's still risky to let him get pinched (specially in end game) because they can get a chunk of his hp which is only average;ironically enough, his own survivability makes him useless against enemies with more range making him impossible to reach them. Overall he is a great anti wave generalist that kind of falls in eng game, but is still arguably the best luga. -balaluga:a superbackliner cc unit with freeze and weaken . Balaluga is a really nice uber to have, but much worse than the previous two. His usage is similar to cyberpunk being both superbackliner ccunitss, but he is much worse than cyberpunk even tho he has more and better abilities than cyberpunk, because cyberpunk is cheaper, has much faster cd, has longer uptime (with talents), and can provide chip damage which balaluga can't because he has even worse dps than kubiluga. Overall a nice unit to have and while he can't substitute cyberpunk, he is a nice support. Asiluga:he is in the same boat as balaluga, but this time even more similar to cyberpunk having the same ability and range, but with the same flaws as balaluga. Overall another nice support unit that can help you, and if you hear someone saying he's bad because cyberpunk outclasses him, just use both lol. -kubiluga:he has actually two different roles in both evolved and true form. In evolved he's basically a second cat cannon that can push enemies back, he can be used to create distance between you and the enemies and for cheese strats. On true form his role is to clear metal peons, only metal peons tho , because his dps is too low for actually threatening metal enemies like super metal hippo or metal seal. His flaws are the same as most lugas having horrible survivability and long ass cd. -nekoluga :the infamous nekoluga is sadly not really good, he's a superbackliner cc unit with kb and freeze. He can be give you space with the kb and the freeze is a nice bonus, he has huge range so mizli syndrome shouldn't be very hurtful for him. His flaws are long attack rate, horrible survivability and long cd. Overall a nice uber ssometimes,but not really good -furiluga:the newest luga is sadly really bad, he has only one niche which is aku shield break, actually he has 100% chance with 700 range, however that's the only good thing about him, because he sucks at everything else. He lacks all stats except range, bad hp-survivability, non existent dps, long cd and worst of all long attack rate, meaning if he misses an attack it can be fatal. Overall a very niche unit that is replaceable by other less risky shield breakers (also he doesn't have surge inmune against akus) -nobiluga:another bad luga that is suppose to be a superbackliner sniper that falls because of his bad dps. His positive things are his high range and sniping range (500-1000), his low cost and somewhat workable cd. His flaws are horrible survivability, low dps and large blind spot. Overall i wouldn't recommend using him, he is not completely useless because he can cheese some stages and be a cheap chip damage, but don't use him as your main sniper. -papaluga:jokes aside, he's not only the worst lugas, but also one of the worst ubers in the game. His only good stat is range and everything else sucks hard. He has the worst cc ability which is curse, and his uptime is not even good, he has multihit that cuts his dps making him an unreliable cc unit, he has the basic luga's flaws having long ass cd and non existent survivability. Overall he is almost completely useless and a waste of resources
I forgot legalan lol. She's a mid range rusher with pretty respectable 10k dps that is really underrated, she's arguably the worst legend, but it doesn't mean she's that bad. I think her usage is more similar to lil valk rather than bahamut. Btw this is listed from best to worst

dude teco crit is just a bonus for him to do crazy damage, it's not the best thing for metals but you can still use him against metal, you just need to cc the metal enemies, he is great against bosses, he is called "the boss killer" for a reason.Also, Shishilan's base damage is trash, but that is because you need to let him get hit to activate his beserker.

Even though piccolan has a low dps it’s freeze is good since most levels have bosses that can wipe a team if there are no freeze and a slow units so even though piccolan freeze isn’t long that little seconds can help a lot
crit chances and other cc efects are related to some treasures. the chances you see in the wiki are calculed at 100% (all golden treasures) then you might have to calculate based in your treasures XD
Tecoluga whole point is not crit unit his point is heavy single target damage the crit is just bonus that’s all and the only way to use against metals is for the chance to one shot metal bosses or take a good chunk of them
The Lucas are really the best support units in the game their not for DPS except for lufflan who is know as the boss killer do to high damage with critical hit damage
Togeluga's dps increase when you activate his strenghten at 99% HP + he Has 100 knockbacks i think Also tecoluga Has 20% CHANCE TO CRIT NOT EVERY SINGLE UNIT WITH CRITICAL IS AN ANTI METAL.
Balaluga has by far the lowest DPS but he's great support since he's effective against all traits. P.S. Tecoluga is great on levels that don't have a lot of peons.
Chapter 3 moon? No problem. Get all chapter 1 and 2 treasures superior, then get energy drink, vault, sword and shield treasures from chapter 3. Use meatshields, recommend 3. Then stack dragons and anything that outranges bun bun.
I am happy about more cat game, BUT, I now really want more Hollow Knight now that silksong is coming, and yes in 12 months max but Chawesy lets be honest you need some practise with HK if you want to be able to truly finish it ( sidenote, really cool idea for a video using just lugas, i am so happy legelan is finally being used )
btw tecoluga is like the 2nd best (possibly the first) because of his BATSH*T crazy high damage, i tried this few months ago this and unlike ranged attackers like hacker cat, he actually attacks UNDER his arms (Not saying its aoe but if a unit get's behind his hands he could still attack them) havent tested it in quite a while though
balaluga has 100% freeze really good edit: also you shouldnt worry about dps as much as you do most ubers dont have much unless it is a rusher. high damage per hit is what counts
3:26 This guy, is only good for m. Cyclone when it comes to metal, he is not made to kill metal, he does over 100k demege in one hit, he also goes by the name THE BOSS KILLER, so yeah i absolutely recommend getting his true form and see what he can do. Test him on stages that have 1-3 very strong enemies because he has single target, and afcorse he has 20% to crit which makes him do over 200k in a single attack
Tecoluga, Balaluga and Asiluga are very worth evolving. Teco deals ridiculous damage and is very worth boosting, altho since he is single strike he is more suited for late UL, where the stage design favors him by having much lesa peons in the way. Bala has ridiculous range, good freeze and weaken lasts a bit longer, so you will be able to take advantage of it, and the damage is miniscule so he won't make anything miss. Asiluga has obscenely long range, good-ish slow and targets everything so he is able to be used as great support. Also, Incredible Hair
I don’t have many Lugas. (I think three) but I do know that piccolan is AMAZING. O my god he helps so much. I never take him off my team. His range is insane, and he doesn’t have a blind spot. The weaken saves me so much.
The only thing it has going for it is range and freeze and it’s freeze uptime is a stretch to say it’s good. Saying it’s “really good in almost every situation” is definitely an overstatement
Lufalan is amazing, with his crits and very long range (going from 600 range in evolved to 720 in true form.) Even if he only has single attack, its balanced out by the absoloute damage it does doing 300K Damage per hit at level 30 when it hits a critical. That means this unit is great at boosting for damage, so this is a unit you might wanna get to level 40/50. Be weary of using him in correct stages though, as if there are too many peons in the way he can be useless. And I don't know if you figure this out in the video but Shishilan is really good with damage as you have to let her get hit once to go berserk, where she will gain strengthen and it makes her attack ALOT better, she also stands at 450 range along with that she has 100 knockbacks to reposition.
Its funny that Balalugas 1st form has 932 DPS but 2nd and 3rd form have both 11,38 Wich is i think lowest for any uber. ( Maybe because they have 187 DMG)
@Chawsey, for the metal enemies you shouldnt rely on crits, You should rely on debuffs (like frezee, slow are Best,Weaken and knockback is good) also get crazed moneko she is really good at killing Tanky metals like Metal seal, metal cyclone she can 1 shot %100 metal seal at level 50 stop complaning about metals You are late game player now you have to use your characters in a Most efficent way
So he should let them very slowly kill him instead of very slowly beating them?? That seems counter productive, when I use freeze units I always have Criticals to back them up so that when they're frozen they can most of the time get one shot. And I have Ubers that do more damage.

Well whatever usually at level 50 with full Talents they one shot most metal enemies and deal immense damage to the tougher ones, I have Two freeze units and the rest Criticals and Meatshields, I put in about 6 Ubers in it and it's been able to literally destroy every metal stage even Merciless+ ones that took some people Hours but takes me minutes.
balaluga is definitely worth it for true form, stacking him is one of my favorite strats. freeze is always helpful. highly recommend! (weaken is also nice)
Although all neokolugas have terrible hp its a pretty cool family and tecoluga is one of the most damaging units in the game the downside is the single target
To get this out of the way I don’t know how bluestacks works but if you can spawn cats with the keyboard you might be able to fix many of the speed issues you have even if you don’t realize it. Please if your using two meatshields than use manic and regular eraser because besides from very specific stages the meatshields go like this 1 manic eraser 2 regular eraser 3 manic Mohawk 4 brainwashed cat (if you have it) 5 kyubuy cat (if you have it) 6 regular Mohawk 7 gold cat (again if you have it) 8 cat burger/coin cat You should only ever need 5 meatshields and even that’s rare the average would be three (dual erasers and manic mowhawk.) Edit: I understand now that he retired manic eraser this list is partially invalid but also he somehow managed to ban the best rusher which is a unit that most say is required for progression and retired the best meatshield in the whole game. Those two are the most important but I’m unsure of the others he retired. I’ve thought about it for a bit and here’s the revised suggestion for a general slot. Talented jiangshi can move fast and could come close to manic eraser so I would go for jiangshi manic mowhawk and eraser. Or you would just un-retire cats but that’s ship is most likely already sailed. Final note: (I promise) talented rice ball can come to basically equal with manic eraser but he costs an ridiculous amount so if money is easy to come by than use him. This would also apply to jiangshi but it doesn’t really because jiangshi behaves like two meatshields.

luffys like a long range and slow balrog with more than double the damage. niche but super good for bosses, or stages with not many peons. also he will not miss if an enemy is too close. i would say hes not really used as an anti metal unit, more of a boss killer for things like cli-one and stuff
The best use of tecoluga is when you are going against a boss and there aren't to many peons as tecoluga can lots of bosses in one hit

The Lucas are really the best support units in the game their not for DPS except for lufflan who is know as the boss killer do to high damage with critical hit damage
Togeluga's dps increase when you activate his strenghten at 99% HP + he Has 100 knockbacks i think
Also tecoluga Has 20% CHANCE TO CRIT
NOT EVERY SINGLE UNIT WITH CRITICAL IS AN ANTI METAL.
Tecoluga can make short work of any tanky boss, like 120,000 or 240,000 dmg plus lots of range, its just really good,

Balaluga has by far the lowest DPS but he's great support since he's effective against all traits.

Chapter 3 moon? No problem. Get all chapter 1 and 2 treasures superior, then get energy drink, vault, sword and shield treasures from chapter 3. Use meatshields, recommend 3. Then stack dragons and anything that outranges bun bun.

I am happy about more cat game, BUT, I now really want more Hollow Knight now that silksong is coming, and yes in 12 months max but Chawesy lets be honest you need some practise with HK if you want to be able to truly finish it ( sidenote, really cool idea for a video using just lugas, i am so happy legelan is finally being used )
I've been looking into a randomizor for Hollow Knight. So if i do HK content, that's probably what it will be on
I am good with that, room rando combined with item rando is my personal favourite so I recommend that combo
btw tecoluga is like the 2nd best (possibly the first) because of his BATSH*T crazy high damage, i tried this few months ago this and unlike ranged attackers like hacker cat, he actually attacks UNDER his arms (Not saying its aoe but if a unit get's behind his hands he could still attack them) havent tested it in quite a while though

No, many Ubers can have high dps without being rushers and high dph doesn’t matter compared to high dps unless the enemy has a lot of knock backs

3:26 This guy, is only good for m. Cyclone when it comes to metal, he is not made to kill metal, he does over 100k demege in one hit, he also goes by the name THE BOSS KILLER, so yeah i absolutely recommend getting his true form and see what he can do. Test him on stages that have 1-3 very strong enemies because he has single target, and afcorse he has 20% to crit which makes him do over 200k in a single attack

Tecoluga, Balaluga and Asiluga are very worth evolving. Teco deals ridiculous damage and is very worth boosting, altho since he is single strike he is more suited for late UL, where the stage design favors him by having much lesa peons in the way. Bala has ridiculous range, good freeze and weaken lasts a bit longer, so you will be able to take advantage of it, and the damage is miniscule so he won't make anything miss. Asiluga has obscenely long range, good-ish slow and targets everything so he is able to be used as great support. Also, Incredible Hair
I don’t have many Lugas. (I think three) but I do know that piccolan is AMAZING. O my god he helps so much. I never take him off my team. His range is insane, and he doesn’t have a blind spot. The weaken saves me so much.
Balaluga is really good in almost every situation, since it has 100% freeze vs all traits (Evolved, True form). You should upgrade it imo.
the freeze is 100% in second form too, true form makes the freeze longer and adds weaken after

The only thing it has going for it is range and freeze and it’s freeze uptime is a stretch to say it’s good. Saying it’s “really good in almost every situation” is definitely an overstatement

Balalan Pasalan is like a better survivabiliy longer range version of Chronos but has a longer attack time
How does it have better survivability with 1 kb and lower hp? The freeze uptime is also way lower.
They’re not similar all lmao. “Like a” doesn’t work when they’re so different, pretty much only similarity is freeze ability
Lufalan is amazing, with his crits and very long range (going from 600 range in evolved to 720 in true form.) Even if he only has single attack, its balanced out by the absoloute damage it does doing 300K Damage per hit at level 30 when it hits a critical. That means this unit is great at boosting for damage, so this is a unit you might wanna get to level 40/50. Be weary of using him in correct stages though, as if there are too many peons in the way he can be useless.
And I don't know if you figure this out in the video but Shishilan is really good with damage as you have to let her get hit once to go berserk, where she will gain strengthen and it makes her attack ALOT better, she also stands at 450 range along with that she has 100 knockbacks to reposition.
So what's his stats inn level 50 with Full Talents??

Tecoluga is amazing and he is the best luga but u need to use him when there are not a bunch of meat shields (I’m talking about their meat shields)
Its funny that Balalugas 1st form has 932 DPS but 2nd and 3rd form have both 11,38 Wich is i think lowest for any uber.
( Maybe because they have 187 DMG)

@Chawsey, for the metal enemies you shouldnt rely on crits,
You should rely on debuffs (like frezee, slow are Best,Weaken and knockback is good)
also get crazed moneko she is really good at killing Tanky metals like Metal seal, metal cyclone
she can 1 shot %100 metal seal at level 50

So he should let them very slowly kill him instead of very slowly beating them?? That seems counter productive, when I use freeze units I always have Criticals to back them up so that when they're frozen they can most of the time get one shot.
And I have Ubers that do more damage.

Well whatever usually at level 50 with full Talents they one shot most metal enemies and deal immense damage to the tougher ones, I have Two freeze units and the rest Criticals and Meatshields, I put in about 6 Ubers in it and it's been able to literally destroy every metal stage even Merciless+ ones that took some people Hours but takes me minutes.

balaluga is definitely worth it for true form, stacking him is one of my favorite strats. freeze is always helpful. highly recommend! (weaken is also nice)
Tecoluga is the OG boss killer and shishalan is a nuker and is 2nd best luga, balaluga is a insanely long range freezer

To get this out of the way I don’t know how bluestacks works but if you can spawn cats with the keyboard you might be able to fix many of the speed issues you have even if you don’t realize it.
Please if your using two meatshields than use manic and regular eraser because besides from very specific stages the meatshields go like this
1 manic eraser
2 regular eraser
3 manic Mohawk
4 brainwashed cat (if you have it)
5 kyubuy cat (if you have it)
6 regular Mohawk
7 gold cat (again if you have it)
8 cat burger/coin cat
You should only ever need 5 meatshields and even that’s rare the average would be three (dual erasers and manic mowhawk.)
Edit: I understand now that he retired manic eraser this list is partially invalid but also he somehow managed to ban the best rusher which is a unit that most say is required for progression and retired the best meatshield in the whole game. Those two are the most important but I’m unsure of the others he retired.
I’ve thought about it for a bit and here’s the revised suggestion for a general slot.
Talented jiangshi can move fast and could come close to manic eraser so I would go for jiangshi manic mowhawk and eraser. Or you would just un-retire cats but that’s ship is most likely already sailed.
Final note: (I promise) talented rice ball can come to basically equal with manic eraser but he costs an ridiculous amount so if money is easy to come by than use him. This would also apply to jiangshi but it doesn’t really because jiangshi behaves like two meatshields.

tecoluga can almost OHKO most enemies, metal ones included. balaluga is an insane crowd control
luffys like a long range and slow balrog with more than double the damage. niche but super good for bosses, or stages with not many peons. also he will not miss if an enemy is too close. i would say hes not really used as an anti metal unit, more of a boss killer for things like cli-one and stuff
if he crits im pretty sure its like over 320,000 damage if hes over level 30
