Thank you. I found the pick up count very useful. I do wonder why you do not use the 1e&a 2e&a 3e&a 4e&a method. I am torn but your pictures that I have printed out are very handy for concentrating on each type.
Ohh noo I commented but don’t know what happened to it :( Haven’t seen you on RUclips in a while and I’m glad that you’re back. I enjoy your tutorial video as usual and it is very helpful for me! Thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you Jane! I’m so happy it is helpful for you 💕 yes I took a little break for the holidays to be with family, but now I’m back and will be posting twice a week, Monday and Thursday! Will do my best to stay consistent.
Hi Avner, the musical examples I used were from several different books. Most of them were from the Masterwork Classics series but different levels. I think the music box was level 3 or 4, The Orphan was level 5, and Sonata in G was probably level 8. I would have to check on those levels though to make sure. Last one was a choir piece.

Thank you very much for your help lesson. I was facing more problems about 6/8 but now you lessons have given an insight and hope to get there. God bless you.can I have your sight to check the previou lesson
Time signatures explained and The Bottom Number both include these time signatures in the explanation. You can take a look at those. If you still have questions, let me know. They are both in the Time Signatures Playlist on my channel. Thank you for watching!
@@PracticalPianoTips hi thanks for the reply I get the theory behind it but do we play it fast or slow. Originally I thought it was fast but recently I heard a 3/2 piece and it was played very slowly. Thanks
@@schmeggynz great question! It depends on the tempo marking. Many times the tempo is marked in the top left corner of the music (at the beginning of the song.) sometimes it is in the name of the piece, for example allegro means fast, lento means slow. But in general it should be faster than 6/4 because you would feel the quarter note as the beat and in 3/2 you would feel the half note as 3/2.
Good question. In 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8, the notes already are grouped in 3s instead of 2s. So it already has somewhat of a triplet feel. Look up compound time signatures to further understand what I’m talking about.
I’m sorry I do not have the notation for “Come September”. Most likely if you want piano notes for it, you would have to pay for a copy since it is modern music. If you want chords you can look up “Come September lyrics and chords” on google. You would get something like this: tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/tab/3150594

Hey! Thanks for the video, was wondering what book you were using for the examples at the end?

What about triplets in the eight beats?
