- Trying out my Weihrauch HW 44 .22 cal pcp pistol at 25 and 50 yards using a Truglo 2 x 42 (2.5 moa) red dot and a 3x magnifier. It's not the best sight picture choice, but if you try and keep the dot centered, it will give repeatable accuracy. I'm on a sand bag benched, and using JSB Exact Jumbo 15.89 gr. pellets. This was really more just to try something different and fun, than something being tested seriously or for a real purpose. Enjoy!

Looking at one .. still undecided on type scope or red dot. I see a lot of people using rifle scopes on this gun.
I just acquired one of these...I can't get it to fill from my compressor. Compressor fills my rifle just fine...

Currently though I store all 4 of my PCP pistols in a large foam lined firearm case.

Thanks for the comment, and actually I know it can shoot tighter than that with more decent optics and a better shooter. Some days I can be a little better shooter..lol It's a really amazing (albeit expensive) air pistol.
What is the total weight of the pistol with optics and is it holdable on the target free hand?
It was years ago and only meant for fun doing something different bench resting. But, as best as I can remember...
- Total weight? about 4 lbs.
- Able to hold on target free hand? Yes, but difficult for long periods.
Not to mention that particular magnifier required 2-3" eye relief for a clear view through the optics.

Was this pistol putting out 18ft lbs we only get under 6 uk
When I chronographed it, 15.89 gr. were running 18.55 FPE ave., while 11.9 gr. were running just about 16 FPE ave.

Ive just picked up my hw44 uk version and need to find out the size of the tank in cc so that i can work out how many fills i will recieve from my 200 bar 15litre filling cylinder?

True enough, and yes I was just playing with a zany optic set up. Currently (and ever since the last HW44 vid) I settled in with a nice slim decent quality 2x pistol scope which is working out great. Thanks for the comment!

I do still have it, and still really like it so it's not currently for sale. It's my 'go to' small pest pistol around my property.

Yes, where today Jan 15th (very oddly) it poured rain all day, and is snowing overnight!

@@michaelnsally I'm in northern MN, but my wife is seriously wanting to move out of state this summer/fall after this current winter we're having. Not too mention the last 60 plus years! I'm not sure if we will for sure, but if not we'll see about it.
