This video is beautiful ❤️ I cycle everyday for so many reasons, but the most important one is if i dont cycle, i dont feel like myself... This video touched my heart.. Thank you Guys ❤️
There's something about a journey that you undertake, be it on foot or by bike, that feels magical. That sense of freedom and achievement that is hard to find in other modes of transport. Feels natural and liberating.
I’m 66, still cycling, try to do a minimum off a100 miles a month, weather permitting, why I cycle, I love it, gets me further than walking and I meet people, been cycling since my stabilisers came off when I was five
This video is sooooo amazing! - Staying at my desk will now be really hard for the rest of this day. Don't be surprised to see me on my bike very soon.
I've always loved cycling. I do it every day by commuting to work all year round, even in winter. I love bicycle touring and have done two tours so far in Poland. Soon I hope to tour Norway, I've already planned the route. I love cycling because it's the best way to see the world - fast enough to call it travelling and slow enough to see all the amazing landscapes. It's cheap, it's eco, you can enter national parks and nature reserves (and I LOVE nature) and you can stop anywhere to rest or take a photo (no need to look for parking place). It keeps you fit and you meet people. All these above advantages are inaccessible by car. Greetings from Poland!
@@tristanbogaard I will definitely keep on riding my bike. You're both a great inspiration to me. I just wish I had started touring earlier, before starting family. Now having many commitments it's not that easy. See my first tour in North East Poland: ruclips.net/video/G4QZkbXreDk/видео.html Best wishes!
Thank you for capturing the reasons why we cycle in such an inspiring way. It made me think of an answer that resumes why I cycle: because I love life ❤
Fantastic video! Man, I really want to cycle. I just moved to Ukraine and am hoping to buy a bike soon. When I was back home in the US I would cycle every single day. I miss it so much.
Well done! Truly inspiring! I recently changed my transportation to work, for a bike....I used to used car..but i hate traffic...it is unfamiliar territory for me ..i am a newcomer in this way of life.
Found this video literally after I upload my version of why I cycle around places in the city I live in. I haven't cycled throughout Europe yet but have done quite a few such as Cambodia & Borneo (malaysia part). Glad to see different faces in this video, reminds me of all those that I have met while I was on the road. Thanks for the great video.
Excellent guys. This is a message which needs to be put out to the masses who are fed the glossy images, slick marketing and idea that the only way to see the beautiful places around the world are accessed by luxurious airlines.
Congratulations, Tristan! This is a beautiful video with a beautiful message, aside beautiful photography and great editing as usual. Love what you are doing!
I never saw a video so motivational, beautiful, great and touching like this one, guys! I follow you since time and...thnx so much to impress me and my son with so beautiful contents! I follow You on Komoot and you're so inspiring! Carrie on!
Such a nice video, I am mahesh kshirsagar from india 28 year old boy I travel all india on my bicycle within 6 month 20,000 km, such a wonderful experience that I have. Is ther world traveler community for experience share ?
Awesome! I think I have watched it at least 20 times. Beautiful photography, music and presentation. What is the title of the music by James Everingham? Thanks so much.
Thank you very much! We really enjoyed making it. All the positive replies are very encouraging to keep on going. The track by James is called Guardian!
Great video, I'm looking to start traveling myself. My ownly concern is financial. How do you afford to travel the world the way you do or what job do you have that allows you the flexibility? Thanks
Actually, the beauty of bike travel is that you don’t need to look at your financial situation that much once you have your bike, bags and necessary luggage (sleep, cook, clothing). We have done this for years and work as ambassadors outdoor brands, allowing us to have saved up and steadily invest in better gear + we don’t own big things like a house or car.. but you don’t need this situation or stuff to get started. Get your stuff second hand, then travel with your bike while camping out and cooking your own food. Depending on where you cycle, but pretty much everywhere; it will be significantly cheaper than a normal renting agreement and monthly spendings. The only question is if you want to do it long- or short term. If short, as a holiday, it will be a bigger investment than when you go long-term and try to make a job with, for example, photography or books (which will take you years to achieve unless you already have the knowledge and experience). That’s pretty much it, you should really consider the way you can manage, and I’m sure you can find a way to do it while staying financially independent :)
I’m 62. I do it because it reminds me of my younger days and I feel more alive and in touch with who I am !
