    Its an option, since its launch in 2003 you would be amazed how many people have bought the remote, I think most are not lazy just like to keep up to date, and enjoy buttons. It takes a range of people to run the world.

    The Nestor Martin / Efel stove featured above is made of cast iron and will retain its heat for long after the stove has gone out. This stove will burn over night and has been defra approved to burn wood in smoke control areas (smokeless zones). This is a 9.2kW or 31412.7btus stove. Hope this helps.

    Can you adjust the draft control by hand, or do you need to use the tool?

    According to the Euroheat website it looks like their stoves aren't available in the U.S.. To me, the remote control flue is an expensive novelty that may break after a while but ducting air to keep the glass clean is a real plus. I hate cleaning the glass every day.

    Looks cool, people don't like changing what they are used to but the good news is the younger generation doesn't have that bias.

      Shame on people that buy crap like this that you cant cook on or boil water or heat your home. They should just print a picture of a real wood stove and tape it to a wall and call it a day .

    Remote is an option for people who like the thought of control, other wise control via manual operation

    You still need to place the logs and have good lighting technique to get the best from this stove. But it is very controllable once it is going (manual or remote control).

    You need to burn the wood at the beginning very hot to burn off the smoke in your woodstove? I've been burning wood for 12 yrs with no issues, clean glass and very little creosote.

    @kenfo0 i used to have this wood burning stove at this one house u could set it a fire and let it go out and it would still heat the house it was made of all 1\4" steel the one i have now sux its lined with cement so it never gets hot and thers all this shrouding around it so it dosent put off any heat if u dont have the door open then u get no heat and with the door open the house fills with smoke any ideas =\

    Umm not sure about that. I have been using wood stoves for over 40 years in different houses. The cold draughty ones where ideal for overnight burning. Old houses. Today I have a 15 year old house and only burn overnight when the temperature drops below 0c or lower. One type will not suit all. The thing to remember is it’s only the very well-engineered stove that can burn overnight.

    I have just spent over $18,000.00 on a fancy French in-built wood heater and installation and still have a cold room
    I have now found out that the heater was not possible to fit in the space intended and dawn up by an architect.
    Be very careful about manufacturers dimensions and installation details

    The younger generation has also gone backwards much more often than in the past, in terms of wasting lots of time with lesser technology just for the sake of newness.

    all you need is electricity. my wood stove works when the power is out.

    • @crispychicken2743
      @crispychicken2743 3 года назад

      Yes . That's the whole idea. The new stoves suck and are for looks only , you cant boil water on them and they are cool to the touch. People are fooled every day

  • @crispychicken2743
    @crispychicken2743 3 года назад

    Dont fall for a new wood stove. They dont realy heat that well it's all emishtions. Go with a old steel stove from the 70s or 80s. , raw heat that will boil water and heat your home. I burn at about 750 degrees truble free. And can burn anything in it. And will if I have to all my window and door trim or hard wood floors will go in. I can burn an old wood fence if need be. But the new stoves are for looks only . Please dont be fooled
