Why did Tear Drop’s lyric changed from a “Mexican female” to a “Latin female” ?
Because they wanted it to be radio playable and for the song to be to all Latinos like Guatemalans Salvadorans Cubans ect and not just Mexicans
Funny story...I was in the car with my kids one day (my boys were about 10 and 7 at the time) I usually listen to oldies, freestyle, and a little rap sometimes. I was usually pretty reserved around my kids. This song came on and I started rapping and singing, just letting it all out; I didnt even realize I still knew all the words (I was back in my teens at that moment! Lol!!!). When it was over my kids were staring at me like I was a stranger! My older son said "Dang! Mom how do u know that song?" Lol!! I said "Son, your Mom used to be cool!" 😂 Anyway...I'll always remember that moment because I feel that my kids discovered a side of me I had never shown them and it felt great! Now we're crazy all the time! Lol! Awesome memories. 💖

I started following you guys just recently, beautiful family. I just had my daughter’s quinceanera go viral of her asking my husband to adopt her and after my video was done yours automatically started of you guys attending a Quince here in Phoenix. We live here in Phoenix but I’m born and raised in East LA/Southern Ca. I was surprised to see that you were in Lighter Shade of Brown and thought of my really close friend/compadre basically Adriel Roman. He was your back up dancer as well as his brother. We always tease him about this video and even have tried over the years to have him dance to the song but he just won’t do it! So happy to see this and takes me back in time. Keep up the awesome work!

I came upon you RVGFAM videos after listening to "Sunday Afternoon". I seen so many short videos on and about LSOB. I am so HOOKED... my era of music goes back a long ways (60's) I have nieces and nephews that were in the LSOB era. I love all types of music and if it makes my pata's move than I give them a thumbs up and place it on my playlist.

Great question. Never did we get slack for having Shiro tour with us (if that's who you're referencing). We did for our DJ who was black who also was the producer for most of our hits. If I ever chose to respond which was hardly ever because we didn't think we had to, we would just mention the fact that he produced the songs that you're bumping in your CD/cassette player/radio/mp3 to this day.

R Dub!!! Teardrop went on to marry and now lives in the IE from what I understand. Her daughter is just about 21 now and just got married as well. We have asked her to tour with us but she has chosen not to.
