Hi friends! I'm Jennifer, a forty-something wife and mother of 7 children ages 8 - 24. We are Catholic. We homeschool. We cook from scratch. We farm cranberries. We drink coffee. We advocate for Down syndrome awareness. We are loud. We are chaotic.
Here I'll share vlogs about all these things, what I'm doing that works and what I've tried but didn't work. I hope to encourage you in your journey through motherhood, homeschooling, learning to cook, and growing in your faith through it all.

Jennifer the editing of this video is superb. Documentary in style and substance. In previous harvesting videos I was totally captured by the process. This year it is the berry and how sturdy it is. I am now curious about its history - how it became domesticated and why. You are a gift to us as you continually ignite learning in each video. Thank you so much!
Love those little dimples!!! Your daughter looks just like you!
Peter playing in the cranberries was so precious!
Yes it was!💙🤗💙
I sure am appreciating cranberries each time I watch you show a harvest. Amazing how we do not know much about some of the foods we enjoy. Thank you and your family for all the hard work and entertainment for us. I love when you and your husband both talk in a video. Enjoy the kids too. Have a great day. 💙
This is always interesting Jennifer. I am enjoying learning more about the process of growing & harvesting cranberries. Warren is a smart and hard working man and I especially enjoy watching your family come together to help him in the harvest process.
Your meals look amazing as well!
Thank you for all you do! Farmers are the heart of our country! Love from Vermont 💜
Thank you for sharing this very informative cranberry harvest.I love them so much.
Your pie & turkey meal looked delicious Maria.is a beautiful sweet girl. I loved her Morning Glory comment.
Your family is very special. God bless you all. 😇🥰🙏 Your little grandson is adorable. He tried the cranberry .So cute.
So much beauty in this video, Maria appreciating the colors of the flower God created, Peter playing in the cranberries, auntie pushing her nephew in the stroller, Joe just being around being Joe, family and friends working, everyone helping no matter how big or small and doing what they can with there own capabilities. The different generations out on your farm being a part of the big picture along with creating their own picture. I loved your pie, I would call that a dump and go pie, I think I will make something similar for my husband this week, he loves apple pie.
My goodness Joe grew up all the sudden he’s so tall!! The cranberries are so pretty! Have a blessed day!
I love that Warren always has a smile for you. So sweet. Thanks for sharing!
Warren and his uncle sure favor each other. I knew even from a distance which uncle was his. Great video. Love the harvest videos. All that work coming to fruition (pun intended).
It’s so exciting to learn all this
Yesss,same here!🤗

Oh I would love to buy and support their cranberries good question ❤️
I just love everything. I'm in Jamaica & after watching for so long I've now appreciated cranberry juice. I love tht Warren has you because he works so hard and needs those home cooked meals. I smile when you get him his Skittles and Pringles. Hope you guys do tht after harvest trip like last yr

I feel like it was just harvest time last year. Time goes so quickly.
Every time I have a baby and get meals in the hospital, I always request cranberry juice, so cranberry juice is one of those things that has special memories attached to it 😊 I appreciate the hard work of farmers like your family.
So cool! I really enjoy your harvest videos, so interesting. There is always something to learn. 😊 Colt is adorable!

I am looking forward to this time in the season, it is so great to see your hard work pay off. You are amazing!
This is so cool, and to be able to say “We’re cranberry farmers.” I made cranberry, white chocolate chip, oatmeal cookies today. And wondered if I was using some of y’all’s berries.😉 I really enjoy your videos.
I loved every minute of this video.. I love cranberries, so learning how they grow and are harvested was interesting to me.

Colorful and educational, Love this video, thank you.
Where do your cranberries go after harvest? Do they get bought by someone like Ocean Spray? Thanks for taking us along
I grew up in Menasha and this reminds me of my childhood. Cranberry harvest time was always a fun process to watch and participate in. My elementary school used to take us on a field trip to learn the process. ❤️
i love watching the harvesting videos. Thank you for sharing this for us.
Happy Harvest to y'all! We are farmers as well, corn, beans and in the past and prossibly again in the near future cattle, hogs and chickens. We relate to your family in a few ways besides farming, we are Catholic and are a special needs family(Happy Down Syndrome Month 😁). I enjoy your videos and following yourr family fun.😀
Love how your family is all involved!
This was so interesting, thank you for sharing 😀we live in Minnesota , and I didn’t know cranberries were harvested so close to us .
I'm really enjoying the cranberry harvest never had any clue I know the knew there was water involved I just didn't know I guess how much water just been really fun to watch
I find this very interesting! Before seeing your videos about cranberries and cranberries harvest I had only seen the camercials about "ocean Sprague cranberries! Where they talk about the cranberries being "organic" as they are standing in the middle of the cranberry bed and one of the 2 fellows dump some sugar I n the center of the bed! Then the other guy says they are sugar free and t h e man that dumped the sugar says all but right here!! It actually was funny but I guess you had to see it to decide it was funny! Any way I have learned alot! Thank you so much!!
I remember that commercial as well. I was a kid when I saw it, and I thought they were standing in pool of just cranberries, not water, and thought that would be fun.
Really enjoying your channel, and wow the cranberries look fabulous. Thanks for sharing 👍😎
Thanks for showing us the harvest process. This was really interesting and educational.
This is my favorite part of y'all's harvesting. It's just so pretty.
Congratulations on your beautiful harvest! I'm so excited for you all. I got my cook book in the mail from you Jennifer. I absolutely love it, also the special note and hand autographed too. I've been dehydrating Unsweetened cranberries. They are my favorite snack. Can't wait to try out your recipes. All the very best and blessings to you. From Central WI.
So interesting! I love it, thanks for sharing the harvest process!!🤗
I finally found fresh cranberries at walmart, I bought 4 bags to have on hand 😁 I'm going to try your cranberry bars with cream cheese frosting first. 🍒
I sure enjoyed this video. It was great to see the harvest taking place and all that is involved.
Thank you so much for sharing this amazing process. Please take us through a little about what happens to the cranberries after they are harvested.
Cranberry harvest is the best! We have family in the Warrens and Tomah area that help with harvesting.
Awww Colt with the cranberry was sooo cute….
This was so interesting, really enjoy eating cranberry sauce.
Good morning Jennifer. I did my Crocktober dinner last night. I thought of your family when I was making it. Sounds like something you all might like. Halloween Hash. Come check it out. I love when you come visit. Lord bless Darlene
Hi Jennifer! Just checking in. I hope you and the family are doing well. You haven’t posted in a but and I find myself having withdrawals lol your channel is my fav to watch. Take care!
Hi Bebs, I just put up a new video. We've been enjoying a family vacation and trying to stay off social media.
Thank you so much for sharing how to harvest very interesting never seen it before love your videos I’m glad I watched you on crocktober 😊😊
Would love to see that n person so.pretty love your videos think I've seen them all enjoy you and your family
So very interesting and a joy to watch your family!
This was so fun to watch - thank you!
Hi Jen, you asked about unusual names of places. I grew up in Chesapeake, Va. Lots of rivers, bays, lakes, etc. The teenagers would refer to one area to go "watch the submarine races". Since submarines are under water, there wasn't actually anything to watch. It was a remote location off the river that we'd go to meet up with friends or 'make out'. Of course, I went to socialize ;-)
I just found you through the crocktober collaboration. Thanks for posting!
Thank you so much for taking us through the steps for harvesting your cranberries! Very, very interesting. What in the world did they do before modern equipment?! 🤔
It is so fascinating to see how it works! Thanks!
Really enjoyed this and learned alot, turkey looked delicious 😋
We have a train trestle that goes over a cement opening that looks like a mouse hole. So everyone calls it mouse hole road.
New subscriber ... Just had to come back and comment on what an extraordinary process and learning experience you gave, Jennifer. Thank you so very much! So glad Becky@acre homestead mentioned your channel!
We purchased a Yukon this summer and I keep calling it a Tahoe. My kids misunderstood me and now refer to our vehicle as the ‘taco’ 🤣
Dinosaur Tree. On a certain highway here, you ask “is it before or after dinosaur tree “ to figure out how far to go before you have to turn. We don’t have numbered exits, we have county roads so it makes directions easier. We also have Hillbilly Highway which a dirt road that connects one Small town to the highway which lets you out right at Dinosaur Tree. 😂
Hi Jennifer, I haven't watched in awhile, but of course had to see how cranberry harvest is going. I hope that everyone is doing well.
They are some beautiful cranberries!!
This was so educational! My husband grew up in OR and remembers all the cranberry bogs he'd drive past as a boy. I've never seen a cranberry harvest before, so cool! My father is a grain farmer. I grew up in IL, so know a bit about corn and soybean harvests! Great, busy time of the year!❤🍂
What a great, informative video.
It's so wonderful to see all the generations working together. I really come to love these cranberry farming videos. It is funny how names of places will stick. A few miles from our home is an intersection everyone calls "Crafty Corner" because of old store that was there over 35-40 years ago. You really know you are talking to a local if we say, we live 3 miles up the road from "Crafty Corner" and they know exactly what you mean and that store has been gone for so very long.
Those cranberries r such a beautiful color. Matches with the fall scenery.
Hi jennifer so enjoyed your vlog and seeing your family god bless 💕
Love your videos. Amazing family. I come from a big family as well.. greetings from Ireland ❤
That turkey looks really good, might have to try it!!!
Sams voice is changing. oh my Joe is getting tall
Hard working family, beautiful country there. Blessings from VA
We have a casserole that's made with ground meat, onions and noodles with cottage cheese, sour cream ,tomato sauce and lots of chili powder and we call it Annie's casserole. It's called that because my mother in laws friend Annie gave her the recipe and it's been passed all through our family and to many friends with that name. I have no idea what the original name was years ago.
Vicki that sounds so yummy--definately going on the menu. We have lots of tomatoe sauce left from last year and a bumper crop this year. My husband LOVES everything/anything tomatoe, so I know it will be a hit with him--we just won't let him know about the cottage cheese😉!!
I tried your fried chicken recipe tonight with skinless thighs. Will definitely make again.
Yum❣️
Great video on cranberries season. I’m a new sub from Florida. 🤟🏼
