🌟Cast Iron Pizza amzn.to/3Fw7ump
🌟crust recipe camphomeschool... (scroll down for the recipe) OR cookbook pg. 36
Heat oven to 500 degrees, roll out pizza dough on a surface dusted with flour and corn meal. Place cast iron skillet in very hot oven and heat thoroughly. Remove from oven and pour in 1-2 Tbsp. oil, swirl around to coat bottom and about 1 inch up the sides. Place pizza crust in hot skillet (it might sizzle). Add toppings. Turn oven down to 425 degrees. Bake pizza for 12-16 minutes. Mine were done in about 15 minutes. The crust was so crunchy and delicious we made this two weeks in a row.

🌟Baked Fish
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Pat dry fish filets, place in greased glass baking dish, brush with milk, sprinkle with and press in 1 sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers which have been well seasoned. I like dill, garlic, onion, salt and pepper. Bake for 20 minutes or until fish flakes when stabbed with a fork. This was so good. I used cod filets from Walmart.
🌟Chocolate Zucchini Bread
1 c. sugar, 1 c. oil, 3 beaten eggs, 3 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt, 1\2 c. cocoa, 1\2 c. nuts, 1 c. brown sugar, 3 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. grated zucchini, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 tsp. cinnamon, 3\4 tsp. baking powder, 1\2 c. chocolate chips
Combine and mix well. Pour into greased pans 2-3 depending on size of pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
🌟Potato Corn Chowder (this wasn't my favorite)
3 cups diced potatoes + 1 small diced sweet potato
1 pound frozen corn
3 Tbsp. flour
6 cups chicken stock
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried oregano
1\2 tsp. garlic powder
1\2 tsp. onion powder
Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste
Place all in crockpot on low for 6-7 hours. Mash lightly if you want it a little creamier. Also add 2 Tbsp. butter and 1\4 c. heavy cream. Stir and serve with oyster crackers. This was ok, but not great. It seemed a little sweet with all that corn.
🌟Crock-pot Liners amzn.to/3x4OPv2 (there are so many options)
🌟Pumpkin Bars w\ Cream Cheese Frosting
1\2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
2 eggs
1 c. oil
1 15oz. or 16 oz. can of pumpkin puree
Mix all together and pour into greased and floured 10x15 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting. Here's my recipe.
3 oz. cream cheese
6 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar
Cream very well, then whip for a minute or two. Spread on cooled bars.

I love how there is always a child wanting to help in the kitchen. Learning so much from their mama 🥰
Watching your videos just make me feel good. Love how close your family is. Joe just melts my heart.
Maria is very teachable. What a sweetheart!!
I loved Joe’s little cooking video! He was so careful with repeating all the ingredients. What a great kid he is. Thanks for sharing him with us.
WOULD LOVE TO SEE MORE OF YOUR ALL DAY COOKING VIDEOS, ESPECIALLY NOW IT IS THE HOLIDAYS. SEEMS LIKE YOU USE TO DO ALOT MORE DESERTS.....
If you haven’t heard of Souper Cubes look them up, you can freeze things in 1 cup blocks. I also have the bigger size which are perfect for freezing portions of casserole, shepherds pie, etc. the one cup size I use for broth, soup, stuff like that. I also have a silicone ice cube tray I use to freeze extra pesto, pizza sauce or marinara (perfect amount for my kids lunches!), stuff like that. I love them!
I love watching you and your family! We also love the amish noodles, I make chicken and noodles, chicken noodles soup, beef and noodles and sometimes just butter noodles with them. I also have a big family. 2 girls 3 boys all grown and married ,5 grandsons.... so that makes for big dinners! I love that you make real food
Jennifer, I love the commoradery of your family. I think it's so nice that your kitchen is truly the heart that brings everyone together and I can't help but smile when I see all that love.♥️🌻
Thank you so much!
Oh Joe you just melt our hearts! Sweet as can be. I admire you so much ! I’ve learned so much from you! I made pie crust yesterday for a chocolate silk pie, but I have failed Numerous pie crusts in the past and hadn’t tried in years!!! But after watching your pie videos back to back I actually felt capable
And it came out BEAUTIFULLY! Your tips and advice is so appreciated. Be well!
Jennifer I freeze my chicken sausage gumbo soup in a zip lock bag which I let it lie flat on a cookie sheet. Takes a lot less room and I also use my canning jars to freeze it in....i freeze my fully cooked rice in quart size bags and we love it because it is. So easy to use. Makes great fried rice too.
Colts eyes are dreamy!! Pizza looked yummy.
Love rewatching your older videos!❤
got to love having babies around. my grankids just turned sixteen and thirteen. and i can wait for great grand babies for a while lol.
What good little kitchen helpers you have , hello from Minnesota 😀
The Pizza looked so good I am going to try in my cast iron skillet. Sweet Joe so nice seeing his smiling face an helping his mom out. Take care. I enjoyed your video.
Let me know how you like it.
I love seeing Joe. His smile lights up the world. Thanks for sharing your family and cooking with us.
I make those potatoes all the time. Like supper tonight.
I'm thrilled to say I watched this video while cutting up some of the meat from the 2nd deer my husband has brought us so far. Hope your family is having a successful deer season too! I happened to check beef prices at my local Kroger the other day and can't believe how expensive it's getting!
Hi Jennifer... I just came adresse your channel. You have a lovely family.
I live a totaly different life in Denmark, so very interesting to see another way of living.
What a good idea to add a dime for every new subscriber. Love your channel. Love the cooking videos!
Thanks for sharing your cooking and yojmur familie with us.❤🇸🇪
Love the idea of a charity receiving part of the dime collection. Soup in a cup is a great idea. I need to make soup to try it.
I'm enjoying your channel a lot I like the real food cooking videos that you make real daily life and yes sometimes you need corn dogs for a fill in and yes sometimes there are technical difficulties, I'm having them with my phone right now. Peace and blessing you all
Wow that was a large zucchini! Chocolate zucchini bread is a favorite in my home.
Your videos are so awesome with your family in them!!!! :) Such a clever idea to freeze soups in cups and put them in baggies!!! :)
Thats a neat idea for ths soup for the freezer that helps with portions too. Thanks for sharing. They all looked delicious.
That pizza made me hungry. Thank you!
Everything you made looked delicious.
Love your apron that you wore when making the chili.
Awesome recipes!!! I think your pizzas looked GREAT! The potato/corn chowder sounded like a winner also!!!!! GREAT recipes!!!! FUN family!!!!!
Thanks so much!
I look everyday to see if you have posted a video.
I'm so glad you stay real. When I have a refrigerator event like you describe, I worry that something is wrong with me, but hearing your adventure keeps that idea in check. LOL
I always make my pizzas in my cast iron skillet. I lightly oil the pan, no preheating necessary. Add my dough, add sauce and toppings then right into a preheated 475 degree oven. Bake about 18 minutes, perfect every time. I put it on my lowest oven rack.
Those pizzas looked soooo good. And I have not made pumpkin bars either this year. I think I better get busy baking those.
Cast iron pizza is one of our favorites! 😍
Your videos help me in the kitchen, and helps to relax me. I learn so much from you! Thank you so much for sharing!
Hey sweet lady you can make your own non-stick baking spray replacement that works VERY well. Here’s What You Need:
thank you for the great recipes! You always seem to help motivate me when I get in a slump in the kitchen. I love to cook so much and feed my family something good! You are such an inspiraitons! Thank you!
Sometimes all it takes is seeing someone else make a dish and it reminds you of something you used to make or triggers a new idea. I'm glad to help.
I use my hands and three paper towels yo soak up grease. Was taught by cooking school many years ago 😉
Your grand babies are adorable!! So good to see your family in your vlogs!❤️❤️
Thank you!! 😊
Ok, I want some of everything you cooked. My or my what some delicious looking food! Loved seeing Joe help out in the kitchen. Wow, Sam is getting more handsome than ever with his neatly trimmed facial hair. No worries about not seeing the finished product of the pumpkin bars. They looked so yummy going in the oven, I can use my imagination on the final product and taste!
Several years ago I found a recipe for deep dish cast iron pizza. Make the pizza in the pan first, then put it on top the stove to get it started for 10-15 minutes to heat up the pan and crisp the crust, then into the very hot oven. No burning your fingers trying to stretch the dough and it doesn't cool down while you are getting it ready. One try like this and we were hooked. We had your savory chicken sandwiches today and really liked it. PS- I sure do miss MOPS. I have many fond memories of those years.
That's a great idea to start it on the stove top. MOPS seems like eons ago. Happy Thanksgiving!
I loved how Joe was giving us the recipe while helping cook. All of the good looked good.
Joe was so sweet helping with the chili. I could just imagine him doing cooking videos one day!
Jennifer , you are by far my favorite RUclips! I have grown you love your family and look forward to every video. I have purchased your cookbook and look forward to the second one. Is that in the works?
Thanks Anne, that's very kind of you. A second cookbook is being thought about, no action taken yet.
It's nice seeing Sam! I love watching yours kids, they are all so helpful!
Such fab recipes and dinner inspiration. Love y'all!
Love the way everyone in the family helps😘
I enjoy the cast iron pizza recipe that King Arthur has with an overnight dough. One thing I learned from there is to put the cheese down and then the sauce on top. It keeps the crust from being soggy. When I use my regular dough that I make the same day, I preheat the oven to 450, oil the cold skillet with a good glug or two, lay in the dough, top with cheese, sauce, and toppings, and then bake 18-20 minutes. No need to prebake the crust.
Great to see your family is so normal .. for a minute there with Sam and Peter it was like looking at my own .. 🦒🦧🐑
Always chasing and annoying each other. It’s a typical love hate relationship.
Love the cooking videos. Maria has really matured
I scoop out most of the grease first with a spoon and then use the paper towel to get the last bit. I have even used the turkey baster to suck up the grease and then put it in a coffee cup once it cools I throw it away.
So many good ways to get rid of the grease. Thanks.
Hi Joe, love your smile
The pizzas I know we're probably so good! My family loves it when I make pizza that way too. Pumpkin bars!! Thank you for the idea girlfriend!! My family is only so, so on pumpkin pie, but they love pumpkin bars. I think I will make those instead! That soup looked very yummy as well.😋🍲
That's so nice of u to donate half of that jar to charity. That pizza looks amazing.. I plan on purchasing ur cookbook..
RUclips algorithm popped your channel up. I think I like you & your channel. Subscribed, looking 4ward to catching up!
Happy Holidays! 😁
Welcome Curtis! I hope you enjoy my videos and feel encouraged by them.
Thanks for mentioning cranberries dipped in caramel as a snack, in past videos. Finally bought some fresh cranberries at Aldi and tried it. Delicious! 😊
I'm so glad you like it; it's a favorite around here.
I have give the cast iron skillet pizza a try. I have a very large skillet I use.
I signed up for Ibotta through your link before Thanksgiving. I sure hope you get credit for the referral, Jennifer. Thank you, and God bless you and your family.
Another great video full of delicious looking food!
Thanks Ashley!!
I freeze leftover soup in pint jars. An easy way to grab a lunch for work.
Great week of meals
So thrilled to see sweet Joe!! He is a delight, as a mom of special blessing, I truly know how precious they are...girl, I gotta drag my cast iron out for something other than. Fried chicken
Wishing you well and hoping you have a fabulous weekend.
@@acountrylife you as well sweet friend ❤️
I have screens (like they use at Domino's) pizza pans etc but the best pizza is from my cast iron skillet. I oil it first and put it into the hot oven while I stretch the dough and then (carefully because the pan is screaming hot) put it in and top as usual. Helps the crust get a head start so it comes out nicely browned. After its topped I run just a small drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkling of herbs on the outer edge to flavor the crust, very yummy! Thanks for the video!
I love watching your family joe is such a blessing he always makes me smile
😳we finally seen your older son he's not hiding anymore he's handsome beautiful family

Jennifer...just made your chocolate zucchini bread. Did 6 mini loaves & one regular mmmmmmm. Ty
Love 💘 your videos!!!.
The Pizzas looked so delicious , I enjoyed seeing Joe helping with the chili I know that was so good 😊 The kiddos are growing up so fast
Everything looks amazing as always!!!
Thanks Tiffany- happy Sunday!!
Hi Jennifer. Everything looks great. The stuffed pepper dish and balsamic chicken look really good. Ha~ I have always used a paper towel with tongs to get the grease out then put right into the trash can. Works great 🤗.
Absolutely brilliant video love watching ..x
Pizza looked amazing.
I bought a cast iron pizza pan from Walmart and I love it! The pizza comes out perfect every time.
I make this soup with either peppers or cabbage and use cauliflower rice instead of white rice. Cauliflower rice in my opinion freezes better than white rice. Bonus it's low carb.
Thank you so much! We don't like peppers and I couldn't come up with a replacement. We love cabbage - great idea!!
All dinners looked yummy, It’s nice to see joe helping out in the kitchen, Sam is becoming a very handsome young man. You have all good kids, good job.🥰❤️🦋
That paper towel and grease tip is genius!!
It really is!
Wow! The pizzas!!! If hadn't prepped everything for quiche, I would have made pizza now. Looked so yummy!
Pizzas look great. I love toasty cheese. Yum! Two bucks down here in Kentucky. Our family is done hunting, that's all we need for our family. We only take what we need, & leave the rest. Good luck with your hunt's this year. I love cold pizza, & cold chicken, too.
Congratulations on the Kentucky bucks!!
@@acountrylife TY
Aldi's ripe olives I buy by the case absolutely love them
Wow everything looks really delicious. 👍🏻👍🏻 Maria and Joe r Great Kitchen Helpers!!👍🏻👍🏻❤💙 Blessings and have a Wonderful Weekend Jennifer. 🙏🙏❤❤🍁🍁
All those looked very good. It has been ages since I've made a pizza in my cast iron...I used the Jenny Jones recipe from here on YT. Thank you for all the cooking inspiration and for sharing your kids helping out in the kitchen, that is sweet. I'm guilty of buying the flour/oil spray cans but for my gluten free cooking I keep a mixture of Crisco, vegetable oil and all purpose gluten free flour in the fridge and brush it on my pans when I'm baking for my daughter who has Celiac. Thank you for the awesome video, Jennifer.
I like that Crisco/flour idea.
Jennifer, your meals looked so good, that pizza, yum, yum. I use my tongs to hold the paper towel to soak up the grease from the pan, it works great, been doing this for a long time, so much easier than draining. :)
I will have to try the pizza, looks good. Happy Thanksgiving to your family.
Happy Thanksgiving Susan.
That looks so good...
Yummy pumpkin bars
