Hi Luli! Making fruit roll ups are good too. My grandmother used to make them as a treat for us when we where kids. The berries are so good with a sweetness, but a tart cherry taste at the same time. Jam is good on toast or in a pastry topping.
My grandmother used to take all the grandchildren walking in the woods and showed us so many plants and of course we all got to stomp on Devils Snuff Boxes as she called them.
I wish I could walk through the woods again with my grandmother again.
Thanks for sharing and hope you and your family have a blessed weekend!
Such sweet memories
My grandparents had one of these trees on their property, the wonderful perfume of the blossoms in the spring is permanently imprinted on my mind. Never have made anything with them, but have tasted them & was pleasantly surprised. Would enjoy trying your recipe sone time. Thank you for sharing. ❤️😊👍🏽
Great aroma memories
I had no idea Autumn Olive berries were edible, I live in MI and it grows wild all over my property. Your jelly looks delicious!
Thanks
A friend of mine gave me some a few years ago, and I made jam. Fantastic. By the way, I prefer using Pomona pectin because a person can get away with as little sugar as you want. Takes a lot less time to cook the jam as well.
Thanks for sharing

Beautiful!! I don’t think we have that berry in south Texas but will check!!
First time I have heard of these
I am happy to share
I think this wild olive is growing on my property, but I m not sure if that’s what it is. Will need to work on identifying it.
Why in the world is it illegal to plant? They are so yummy. I have them all over my yard, and to me, the berries taste like pomegranates.
