Hearing Phil talk about his medical issues with such certainty and positivity is really nice. As he sums it up, sometimes you just have to learn to deal with something, you only have the one life, so just do your best with what you’ve got.
I’m currently dealing with chest problems from ~Long Covid~ that have been giving me serious anxiety and panic, even though I know it’s probably just left over congestion and weakness from when I was sick (it’s been a week since I got over it). The symptoms were so hard to handle while I was sick that at one point I literally called 911 out of panic, but they gave me a (technically) clean bill of health, just Covid being Covid.
I’ll likely see a doctor sooner rather than later just to be careful, but I’m not a high risk person who usually has medical issues pertaining to my heart or lungs and I’m only 21.

Phil, I'm so sorry to hear about your dizziness - I experienced the same debilitating, drunk-disorientating, maddening symptom for 3 years or so whilst recovering from a virus, which turned into chronic fatigue syndrome, it was AWFUL. BUT, it has GONE now. I have the odd bout of it here and there, but mostly, it's gone.
I'm aware you're having treatment which is great, but definitely look into Nervous System Regulation tools. Once I learnt about that and started to apply it daily, it healed my dizziness PLUS tons of other weird symptoms quite quickly. I basically felt drunk, dizzy and jet lagged all the time, horrible. You CAN heal.
I'm so grateful for how transparent you're being about it - I struggled to have the same openness when it was bad. I also loved what you said about how it's important to still live and enjoy things despite it!

I'm so glad you got help for your dizziness. I have some weird medical stuff going on right now (I might have a brain tumor) and am getting an MRI soon. I'm pretty down about it. So it's great to see that you're able to cope with it and find some positives. 💜

Phill you might have POTS or another dysautonomia! Especially if the dizziness heightens when you stand after sitting or laying down! Please boost this comment! It goes undiagnosed for so long!

Hearing phil struggles with VM/PPPD makes me feel so much less alone :,) ive been having this weird dizziness since 2018 and it's a daily struggle. Knowing its not just me and someone who ive looked up to for half of my life is also struggling (even though im sorry youre going through this - its awful) it makes me feel so much less alone

Hey Phil, thank you for talking about your vestibular migraines. I suffer from the same chronic thing and it's crazy to hear someone else talk about this publicly. It's so hard to explain to people how awful it feels when you physically look 'normal'. Anyway, thank you for bringing awareness!

I keep coming back to this video at the moment cause one of my housemates got a bunch of headaches and then started to get dizzy times that are really similar to what Phil gets.
Genuinely, I would be so lost if I hadn't heard Phil talk about this - so thanks for that! Definitely making all of this a little less scary

vestibular migraine buddy! I've gotten migraines since I was 7 and got vestibular migraines starting when I was 19. Never knew they were even a thing, took over a year and a dozen doctors to get diagnosed. You're much more positive than I was - great example of prevailing :)

This sweet guy could've said kill the tour that he wasn't a part of, but he's gotta give 'we're all doomed' that good press and so he said f it. I love his reasoning too.
