@DIYDiesel i put antisieze on the stem then wiped most off and didn't have an issue, but I've broken stems in half before trying to remove the cap. Probably depends where you live and how often you check your tire pressure. The issue has to do with the way aluminum interacts with steel.
Aluminum valve stem covers suck one winter and you never going to be able to get those things off of your tires ever again
