Phenomena is one of my friends, number one favorite movie and we saw it on VHS at the scarecrow video in Seattle for a special screening. Exciting this is getting a 4K restoration, thank you for the review, sounds like the transfer is great, and there’s multiple cuts of the foam and has, no special features so glad they did this round justice for this release. That’s very strange they had two 4K releases within a year of each other. Were they from the same studio? I was also born in 85! Small world. I watched this on Tubi as I didn’t want to do a blind-buy on it (even though I like Bubba Ho Tep). Your video really made me rethink things as I love buying horror flicks, especially on 4K, but I want to get value for my buck. I really enjoy your channel and your kind nature, Ken! We have a lot of mutual friends in the RUclips world!
I saw Creepers 5 times in theaters I love the movie. My first Argento movie was Suspiria which I saw with my dad in theaters and has a special place for me.🤔
I'm glad that you're embracing Italian horror movies. Italians don't make horror movies anymore but you have a whole world of cinema to discover including zombies and primitive cannibals which are the top gun of the genre. Good review and cool video Ken!👉😃👈

Ken I think this review was spot-on and I totally agree with you. Next to Suspiria, Phenomena is probably my favorite Argento 4K release. It really is a stunning representation of the format. I managed to grab the LE box set Synapse released last year for less than $40 (I think it was still fairly new and Amazon had a good deal on it). But Phenomena is also in my Argento Top 3 with Deep Red and Tenebrae, in terms of favorite films overall. Good stuff man.
Thanks for doing this review Kenny I was hoping the new set would come with a Blu-ray besides the 4K like Shout Factory does I have the old Blu-ray that came out in 2016 but I want to see that new documentary so it looks like I can't get this one which sucks I'm a big fan of Dario Argento my favorite movie is Deep Red but Tenebrae and Susperia are great as well I was like you the first time I watched the movie I was a little underwhelmed by it but your right the end is very good it's still a solid movie by Dario Argento
Phenomena has always been my favorite Argento movie. Even when it was just called Creepers. I had to get the Arrow Arte Originale of the UHD here lately, and I had to get it used for about $80.00. I have the Synapse Blu-ray as well. I was just going to wait until this Synapse UHD came out, but I really wanted to Arrow release. But looking at that picture and slipcover? I might actually get this one, too. I believe that Arrow and Synapse used the exact same scan. Can you please tell me if the Synapse menu looks like the Arrow menu?
I love Argento and I really like this movie, but this it is mid level Argento at best. Everyone has their own opinion, but I don't understand how anyone could like this more than Suspiria.

The synapse remaster transfer is actually the Arrow remaster transfer. They licensed it from them.
