this is a 5 year old comment but im gonna reply anyway, i go nuts in my save editor and im happy with that. some people enjoy time traveling and making their town super nice without putting in the tedious effort to do so. if you don't like it, thats cool, but some people do like it.
Tempting... maybe moving townhall and retail closer to the station along with the café and police station nearby, maybe with the tree in the middle as a small town square..!

There is actually a way to just manually add the perfect trees - You just have to edit the small boxes next to the item select and it'll say perfect 0. So technically you can have all perfect fruit trees but it's never recommended because it's one of those things that just oddly bricks your game? like we can put shit in the river but the perfect fruit just is different with coding im assuming so your game like, it's impossible to grow any other perfect fruit so it's just not written in. Because technically since maps can be edited buildings can b much b everywhere. It's like how you cant move the train station cuz its ALWAYS there. It's ALWAYS one perfect fruit.

Kiliji s How do you restore the backup? I messed up and my game reset itself and it said start new game. This was months ago and I haven't picked my laptop and 3DS since. Can you explain? I need to fix it this weekend but I'm not sure how..
Savannah Haslam So when you hacked your 3ds, did you copy your pre hacked game file named garden_plus.dat? it has to be named that. You then add on "BACKUP" so you know that's the pre hacked game file. When in homebrew you can select it to import it to your game
If I hack my town to unlock all pwp do I only need to do that one time? Can I play normally after that without having to worry about updates and such? Also I have 2 ds's but I play multiple cartridges. If I hack one town will it affect any other acnl cardtriges that I play?

Hi! okay so, i accidentally added wayyy more public works projects than the limit (which is 30) and it won’t even let me enter the game without an error… i cant even get to isabelle!! How do I delete public works projects, i know it’s not possible with the save editor, but does anyone have any tips? i really don’t want to lose my town.
A New 3DS is different than the old/original 3DS. It's faster and I think there's a game that was made exclusively for it. I bet Nintendo made it just to make more money. I assume from what you are saying you have an old 3DS.
I actually have the old 3ds and the new 3ds xl and there're some improvements, especially the 3d works better ;) I'm glad I upgrated. And yes you're right Xenoblade Chronicles is exclusive to the new 3ds because of the second slide stick (works to change the camera perspective) and it has more power to be able to run the game :)

Late, but if you scroll down on the save editor, on the right will be a thing where you edit the grass. You will see a button that says "revive+" press that a few times and you'll restore all the grass. If you wanna have some parts without grass. Right click and drag on those parts
InesS777 you can use the map editor at the bottom! just click the square of where the concrete is and replace it with whatever square you want. just be careful though, I glitched one square space when I was fiddling around but fixed it by following the guidelines that the creators listed and fiddling around more!

Yeah just copy the bin file. Just follow her instructions and you'll be fine. Even if you fuck something up you have something to fall back on

kellybananabelly I believe you have to replace a pwp with it, just find one on the right of the map screen and click on the little pencil by it.

Little Luma Old 3ds is different looking to new 3ds also it should say it in system settings.
A New 3DS is different than the old/original 3DS. It's faster and I think there's a game that was made exclusively for it. I bet Nintendo made it just to make more money.
