Life in the Eastern and Western Societies : Accounts of Mr. Ayub Khan of Gulmit, Hunza [in Wakhi]

Mr. Muhammad Ayub Khan was born in the 1930s, raise in his state of Hunza, experienced different societies and professions in his lifetime within Pakistan and abroad such as the United Kingdom and the United States and finally returned to his beloved homeland. I was fortunate to conduct a detailed discussion focused on his biography. Already, he has been one of my highly trustable key informants around different topics as he is prominetly known for his straight viewpoints among the people.
Apart from the agro-pastoal life, Mr. Muhammad Ayub Khan has been a military person, who has participated in teh 1965 war of Pakistan with India. He has prominently been an honest and fearless tourist guide. This is the final part of the interview of Mr. Ayub Khan in Wakhi. Hope the related audience will enjoy it as he greatly and sincerely describes and analyzes the societies of Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan and Pakistan in an evolutionary context in addition to the comparison of these societies with the West.
With a special note I would like to mention that for the anthropologists, sociologists and other researchers of social sciences , the in-depth interviews of credible key informants like Mr. Muhammad Ayub Khan are not lesser than a blessing. Moreover, in my case, it is significant to note that uncle Muhammad Ayub Khan was the first person who proved to be my first mentor in tourism as I was the Assistant Guide with him while carrying a European group of Adventure Travel to Kaghan Valley up to Naran in 1990.
