Sometimes, when i see this kind of friendships, i get envious. Coz i've been on one sided friendships where i give my 100% and i get shit and get taken advantage of. Like when i had a group of friends that i hang out with, i remember each of their birthdays and i'll make handmade gifts (eg, photo album full of all our photos etc) to a point where my mom complains. Guess what? They forgot mine. I thought they wanted to surprise me, but no. All of them forgot and wanted to celebrate it in the following month with another friend of ours.
And then there's a friend i thought was close enough to be trusted. Signed a hp line for her and her bf. Long story short, i was in a 3k debt because of them.
Last one was i literally gave my all. Surprised H with flowers and ice cream when she told me she was down. I confided her with all my problems and vice versa. I even planned a surprise during a camp (we were both camp instructors and she said she missed our group of close friends. Told the other two other people innour circle to do the same camp as her and not telling H. She was stoked.).
But nah, still one sided. She persuaded me to work for her cousin together with her. Guess what? After H had a bad argument with her cousin (who was my boss) and said cousin told me H has been bitching about me behind my back and that H doesn't think of me a bestie. And of course, we fell out after that. Although she said she misses me, doesn't take the effort to meet up.
So here i am, having to keep all my thoughts to myself, having built my walls high and thick, put on a mask everytime i step out. Idk how i'd survive tho. But i did.
Hello im envious like you too! Trust in fate and i hope you'll have a friend who will treasure and put in effort to you like you do you them ❤️❤️ like Sylvia and nina! Most of my "friends" are like much older maybe cos they understand two way balance. But my age one really dont have :(

That have been around since ages ago that i forgot which year. Anyway, it's there as a reminder to myself. Coz i have been scruntinized since young and idk at which point of my life, but i eventually stop caring of people have to say about me. I do appreciate direct honesty rather than a white lie. I mean, yes, i can get riled up after knowing the cold hard truth but, it leaves me somthing to think about and reflect on it. Does that make sense? Hahahah!
Karen Renne Cho dont try too hard, usually that’s when people take you for granted. And dont hope for too much too. Love yourself and do things for yourself. Be kind to others but not too much of it either. Tbh if you put it too much effort its natural to want something back, and thats when the disappointments come in. So don’t. Until you find someone who treats you with utmost respect and dedication, then do the same as well. Otherwise i can tell you as a older person that a lot of people dont appreciate efforts from others at all.
My weekly ritual is to watch and expect the sisters to give desired thirsty news and learn something juicy along the way! Friendship goals!! 💜

I was in a sort of complicating relationship that won't end well and wasn't treated rite. But being blinded by love, I wasnt eating properly I slim down a lot too much and wasn't happy but still clinging on the guy. My best fren was upset with me she didn't say anything to me, she is upset y m I doing this to my health. She just quietly supports me. Until I told her "I m going to treat myself better and not think about it anymore" then she smiled and say that she is glad. I told her u are upset because of me rite because of that. That was few years back. We just know the other is upset without telling. We do do crazy things together so often. Listening to u girls make me love n appreciate her even more. Hope cb ends soon I miss her ❤️ we hv been closed for almost 12 years?? But known each other more than 15 years ago.

I wish I can find such friends in life
So I'm blessed with three great best friends. We've known each other for over 13 years now through sending each other sms messages till we had no prepaid left, to emailing each other multiple times a day very long letters to WhatsApp messages. Funny thing is that the three of them remember how they all met, but somehow none of us remembers when I met them😂 so there is this period without me and then suddenly I am there. We've been through a lot together and always keep on cheering each other on. So your friendship really reminds me of them and makes me miss them even more during this whole covid-19. We all live far apart from each other so it's a long distance friendship. But the four of us have stayed extremely close all these years and are even becoming closer. We always call each other sisters and even our moms have kinda accepted the other three as their childs😂

I have this female friend, one of my best friends...we know how we met but we don't know how we became best friends for 10 years. Sometimes it's a wonder how we became THAT close, I will be like Sylvia Oh this and Oh That during the realization. Alot of friends of ours think we are dating or the girl is cheating on her bf with me and the girl I was chasing thinking she is the 2nd boat...bla bla bla, the best explanation to them, we are BFF which made me look Gay or her a tomboy in their mind. It's hard in this current world to be best friend with the opposite gender.

She has lived with her nanny since her childhood days and she grew attached to her nanny. So she decided to live with her as she feels the closest to her.
